Wondering if anyone has had any experience using the Ravelco Mid-Atlantic Division for their install on the 392….….According to their website they service the following areas with the in home installation - Any feedback would surely be appreciated- Looking to get this done in Early January ✌️

I had mine installed by mid-Atlantic Ravelco. I’m ver happy with it. See below for a thread with some more details when I had it installed last year.

Getting Ravelco installed next week. My lady friend lives in the Hood. Already had some genius drill into my two door’s gas tank to steal four gallons of premium.

Not sure anything short of a Glock will help with that 🤬

I just had Ravelco installed this week. It changes your habits a bit, but it's a small price to pay for security.

Ours is still on order, but if you need to maintain remote start IGLA is a good alternative. This is what I have on my TRX (along with Compustar T13) We plan to do the same on the 392 when it arrives.

Read about Kaspersky "antivirus". Search about Walls Street/hospitals/infrastructure hacks attributed to Russia.

IGLA is made by Russia (white hat hackers, black hat hackers? Who knows? Every business man there is gray at the least ). I personally would never install such a potential trojan horse.

The TRX forum has a bunch of very rabid folks that push IGLA (above everything) hard. Quite suspicious IMHO.

But we're a free country and everyone has the freedom to choose what they want.

I had mine installed by mid-Atlantic Ravelco as well. Super couple and amazing crafstmanship. Jeep, TRX x2, and F450 all have them.
Mine was done by California and Arizona Ravelco; would also recommend them. Ask for a AAA discount (if you're a member, although they haven't asked for proof).

Chuck and Megan (mid Atlantic Ravelco)have done many cars for me, MOPARs, etc. probably will be seeing them again soon. They do it properly, integrated into the factory harness for stealth, hide wiring, takes 3-4 hours generally. This is how it’s supposed to be done. Chuck cares more about your car than you do.

I opted for the IGLA this time on my 392, just because my compustar guy is a IGLA installer, it was convenient.

Had Ravelco installed today in Arvada, Colorado. They’ve been doing it for the past 5 years so the install only took 2.5 hours.

Only issue and it wasn’t the installer’s fault… had to do a soft reboot of the Uconnect system (hold down radio power and tune buttons at the same time for roughly 30 sec).

Center screen went from our orange to blue and the temp buttons wouldn’t work.

Very happy with the install and have more piece of mind now.

A buddy of mine designed a 3D-printed cap to protect the metal prongs and prevent debris from getting in. Thought it might be handy for some of you guys and wanted to pass the information along.

I just benefited from this post after a battery change. Thank you.

Has anyone had Ravelco installed at an out of state dealer before delivery? I'm planning to get my 392 out of state and drive it back cross country. Would be great to have it on before the drive.

That’s actually a good idea. I’m guessing HCP4X4 in the Denver metro would be on your way back home.
