Official Bronco Raptor - Only Suspension Setup Impresses Me

I see nothing good about the latest reinvention of the Bronco III . UGLY, cheap, ....
Just my opinion

So I did pull the trigger and order a BRaptor. I'm one of four "Hand Raisers" at my dealership and all four chose to convert their very old Bronco orders to Raptors. Fully loaded it came in within about $200 of my 392 order that I placed over 19 weeks ago and is still in D status. Still wondering which one will win the race to my garage.
I’m with you, I’m calling in the morning!
Had 2 Raptors and loved them.
Just beaten down with the “waiting process”. Ordered last November and throwing up my hands in classic “Surrender Cobra”...🙁😞

The embargo lifted today for Bronco Raptor reviews. I expect we'll start seeing a lot more videos comparing the Bronco Raptor to the Jeep 392.

0-60 in 6.3... wut?? Better luck next time Ford :ROFLMAO:

It certainly won't be winning many stop light races. :ROFLMAO:
I think it won’t be winning many of those, but it will be crushing at what it was designed for, high speed running and to a lesser extent crawling. Dominant.

Still, to each their own. I happen to have one on order getting built the second week of August. It’ll have to be amazing to top the Sky One Touch + Performance Exhast combo though. Time will tell.

Shall we place bets on whether or not it gets built at that time? :ROFLMAO: My buddy has been waiting for his "golden ticket" GT500 build for 2 years, it was originally supposed to be built in '21 now supposedly in August as well, he doubts it will be here by the end of the year and plenty of folks are still waiting on their original Bronco orders.

I’m not quite holding my breath yet, as it has been bumped three times already, but I do have a VIN, which is usually a good sign with these and their scheduling. As far as folks can tell there are under a thousand VINs released. Some have already been built and are on the way to dealers. 🤞

To each their own, but this Raptor and the Bronco in general really turn me off. One of many reasons is the proportions of it. The top just looks too short for the body, and the ugly fenders are too prominent. The design really looks "rushed".

The original Bronco was so much more aesthetically pleasing (1973 version below, with original everything including V8!):

I like the old version above, even the offset spare tire is kind of stylish and unique. It doesn't look like a Jeep wanna-be. Just add some modern touches, bigger tires and bigger body colored fenders, I think that would be a home run.

I was beyond geeked for a very long time about the Bronco raptor. I gave up and went the 392 route because I didn’t want to wait years to get my hands on one. I have to say I am NOT impressed with the final product. The tech and ride (IFS) is most likely great, but damn it’s ugly! Plus, it is way too wide for a lot of trails, which is why I said goodbye to my F150 raptor.
