New Orders ONLY with Xtreme Recon - Thoughs?

Hmm now that I see it's not option, I may remove it. I don't need the 35s, will go to 37s immediately. So I get 4.56 gears, tire relocation kit that I can order, and wheels I don't want for $4k. Think I'm calling dealer now.

I was able to order this morning without the recon package. I changed my mind and switched from sting grey to white, so idk if color has anything to do with it- but i couldn’t order recon on white even if I wanted it.

I’m glad they updated the website to show it can be added. I added it to my order, not sure how I feel about the Bronze wheels. They are growing on me.

Do y’all think it’s worth it for the 4.56 gears when adding 37s in the future?

Also seems late in the game to add it to the website with 22s just a couple months away. Makes me wonder if the 392 will be made next year or past next year with the all electric one coming in 23.

The 4.56 gears are fabulous with 37” tires.

The og 392 wheels? Yes, I will.

It was reported in another thread they are now available to order without the XR package and original wheels. I know you may be too far into the build process to make the change just did not know if you had seen that.

It’s so strange! Mine just got ordered this AM finally so that might be why… or maybe its just the dealership telling me that? Also don’t know why it says zone-Orlando on it either, I’m in NC ordering in SC.

Yea saw that. I called the dealer and they are reaching out to Jeep to see if they can make a change. They said 2021 Rubi orders are closed so starting over would push it to a 22. I told them I'm cool with the package if they can just give me the og wheels with it. I just don't want to pay 4k for a re-gear and then have to pay another $2k or whatever it'll be for og wheels. I'll gladly pay the $4k for the package, even though the tires will be a waste, if I can have the og wheels.

Wow, I guess Jeep is just all over the place right now. I'm glad they gave people the option on new orders. I wonder if you don't get the XR package if you get the original wheels and shocks?

FWIW. I checked with my dealer. Dempsey in Plano Illinois. They can still order (maybe 3-4 left) without the XR package. I worked with TJ. Zero pressure. Provided weekly updates. Order to door ~ 8 weeks.
