New Order

9 weeks in.
Supposedly in “C status” which is a “tentative schedule”- they didn’t say what it was dependent on. Ordered numerous vehicles and this is by far the most frustrating
When did you place your order? My 392XR order was completed on Aug 19 and I will HOPEFULLY be taking delivery the week of Jan 24. I’m not sure if that helps you. I can tell you it’s an extremely frustrating process. My dealer has been good about keeping me up to date. Jeep chat is close to useless.

What are the specifics of your build? Also, I agree, this process leaves much to be desired.

Where did you order? Ordered mine Aug 18 ... was finally built around 12/13. Once it was out of JB it moved quick. Picking it up next Wednesday in PA

I got some additional intel today. Both from a Jeep dealer, and from some posts on other boards. Don't know that any of this is accurate but just putting it out there.

1) When a dealer honors affiliates pricing, they get reimbursed by Stellantis but not for the full difference between MSRP and 1% under invoice--they get more than 1%, but less than the full spread.
2) Stellantis apparently audited a high volume dealer, and they had to refund Stellantis a fair amount of money (~250K) for violations of the affiliates program--in this case, it sounds like it was selling for even less than 1% under sticker. (This would explain why dealers offering a better deal don't care about doing the affiliates thing--it could come back to bite them.)

Yeah .. I can see that happening. FWIW affiliates is 1% under invoice. I was already getting 4% under invoice. (10-ish% under msrp)

Affiliate becomes the new invoice but yes 1% below. The affiliate or FFP is listed right on the actual invoice. Depending on the build and MSRP it’s not quite 10% off but about $500 difference than 5% off invoice. But if the dealer is giving you 4% it’s not an additional 1% off. It would start with the 1% off and then whatever else they wanted to go from there. Are you an actual affiliate? Everyone assumes they are but the dealer needs proof from you that gets sent to Jeep.

It is actually 5% under as it was in the original quote. .. 4% is for everyone without an affiliate code.
And yes.. the company I work for is a supplier. Had to generate a code etc which expired 1/3. Not the issue as you can generate 2 a year.
Now that I look closer.. I think what they meant to tell me is that the price would fall under the EP ... not the FFP.
My original quote was $200 UNDER EP. (at that time)
After the price increase that put THAT quote at $998 under EP.
In the end.... It was just under EP... or 10.5% under msrp

Im happy with it.. its a great price. Communication was bad... but in hindsight...I think theres a solution to it.
Anyone has any questions about buying through them.. feel free to ask.

Sounds like we’re close to an identical timeline. I ordered from Jim Marsh Chrysler in Las Vegas.
