Jeep trails app

I was finally able to get my 2024 radio to do a factory reset... but still nothing for me AS OF NOW. we will see how it goes today.

I ended up idling for about 10 minutes in a good connection area for the update to upload
 
So far the Factory Reset did nothing to put Adventure Trails all on my 2024 392 Rubicon. I did get the Trail Recording app and was hoping the Adventure app would follow.
I've wasted a track of gas driving around last Saturday night and a few quick. errands and driving around for 45minutes today.
@JeepCares had messaged me to do the factory reset and they ch3cked on me the other day but no other solution to fix yet

I gave up and just purchased the App. Shows up fine on the screen now.

I am not sure it is of much use to me. I think it would be nice if you use Gaia and you can import the BOH trails into it. There is really good info on the BOH trails and I used it on 1 of the 5 badges I got this past month. The other 4, I turned off my electronics and just enjoyed the trails.

Question so you bough the app on your phone and it's now on your Jeep Connect screen? I looked at buying the Trails app and I have an account with them but I do not understand how to get the purchase to download onto my Jeeps Connect. thanks!

It will show up under your app section on your screen via Car Play or Android Auto
 
That's not the same as the connected app but maybe just as useful? I'd prefer having it integrated with the vehicle. I think it works more seamlessly. I subscribed and then left the car running outside where it could pick up signal to download the app. It loaded in about 20 minutes.

Maybe? I didn't like it compared to on-x so I only used it twice.

I'm tempted...LOL... however so far I can't get the Free version of Adventure Trails or Trail Recordings app to show up on the Vehicle Screen were Offroad Pages is.....so I'm a bit apprehensive to purchase the Trails app in hopes it shows up un my Car Play... I guess it would like Waze does correct?

that did not help from what I could tell. HOWEVER almost exactly 48 hrs after the FACTORY reset (not the soft reset) I got everything to show up.
I'm waiting a little longer before I purchase the full abilities (all but two super easy dirt roads by me are locked)
 
My Adventure Trails nor Trail Recordings have not shown up after 2 Factory Resets over a week ago. I’ve been chasing this for a month now.

I have a case in with @JeepCares but haven’t heard back on a fix yet. Hopefully soon as I’m losing patience and have become frustrated
 
Has anyone in the last week or so had any success getting the Adventure Trails app and Trail Recording app to download on there 2024 UConnect ?

After 2 Factory reset's @JeepCares advised me not to try a 3rd Factory Reset. However I am very tempted because after the 1st reset I did get Trail Recording app....but on the 2nd Factory Reset the Trail Recording app did not show back up....and it took 2 days for front and rear camera to show back up.

after my reset it took a day for the front camera to come back for me as well. Trails app came after a 30 minute idle under a cell tower :-)
 
I am very tempted...my try a 3rd Factory Reset and sitting still at idle for 30 min in a 5G Cell Area. I know we are not suppose to idle the 392 Hemi for extended periods but maybe a few revs to keep the oil flow good every 5 min will be fine.

Still no response back from Jeep Cares since over a week ago. They were responsive for a while then nothing. :mad:
 
3 months and STILL NO ADVENTURE TRAIL GUIDE APP. I have been in contact with @JeepCares a few times and they say my issue is escalated but all they've said was do a Factory Reset which I've done twice.

On the 2nd Factory Reset It took a few days for the Front and Rear Camera to work again and 2 weeks for Trails Recording App to show up but I still never received the Adventure Trails App. I've tried WiFi Software updates multiple times as well.

SO INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING!!!! Dealers do not know anything and refuse to help. Jeep has not helped but yet they keep advertising the Adventure Trails App.

Yep but it's not a ground breaking app and it wasn't worth me worrying about it. I only used the app once after purchasing the app myself and I am offroad a lot.

Thanks…but..I don’t do any groundbreaking off-roading and in Florida not much to do but there are a few trails 30-40 miles from me and it seems this app would be ok to have. Plus it’s more of …it’s supposed to be there so I want it there. 😂

Well ... Adventure Trails showed up today.... however...click on it a don trails are active to view. My Jeep.com app shows my trail to Offroad Pages is active...but before I subscribed $40 I thought and was told by the dealer there is a free trial.

I messgaged @JeepCares so hopefully they have an explanation.
