Interior Storage Options / Show and Tell

Got the test fit done today for the custom drawers I had made. Unfortunately ready systems like AAL aren't available here. Got a decent price on the custom ones so went for it
Should be painted and ready for final install next weekend. Went for carpet type finish on the interior and top to try and limit clanking noises over bumps
Those look very nice! To me they appear to be much like the AAL but probably deeper.

Spent the last 6 months getting storage sorted before our trip a couple weeks ago to Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah. Pretty happy with how it turned out, few things to still sort out. The cargo dog system makes good use of the space the rear seats were and are lockable. Vector off road rack, Gama adventure bags, AAL Slide n Flip, 6 inch drawers. Have a Bluetti bolted to the Vector rack as well as my Humvee scissor jack. I had an Artec Fluid holder thats been sitting in my shop that fit perfect and was contoured perfectly for the rear passenger fender well. Its amazing how quiet this is going down the highway, nothing rattles. I lined all the drawers with neoprene, used felt pads on some of the AAL parts like the Flip n Slide and Artec storage bin.

Anyone have experience with 2024 MY fit for racks? Been looking at AAL set up and others for my '24. Noticed that "Does Not Fit 2024" started showing up on Quadratec's site recently for items fitted in the back....like racks and other storage solutions.

I saved some of the handy Amazon sourced plastic bins from my '22. Never used the 3M adhesive strips to attach and they fit great. The rear bins do not fit my '24. The console saddlebag style fits fine (and makes a great phone holder for driver & passenger, especially with wireless Apple Carplay).

Guessing the rollbar is slightly different...maybe due to side curtain airbags being added??? The rear bins I bought worked great for smaller stuff like first aid kits, bungee cords, etc. No big deal as they were inexpensive. Would hate to order a rack setup and find out it doesn't fit.

Here's what I have:

I frequently go exploring alone in the middle of nowhere, and I want to be prepared. This is how my dailer driver rolls at all times. For trips I add a large cooler.

In the Milwaukee packout on the floor Is an electric chain saw, a bottle jack, tire changing and repair gear, and heavy recovery gear like a snatch block. In the tan colored bag in the lower middle is a full assortment of tools for the Jeep. The backpack is my "get home pack" in case I need to abandon the Jeep and walk out. There is enough survival gear for me to live for two weeks. It includes things like a sleeping bag, a change of clothes, prescription meds, cooking utensils, fire starter, camp stove, water purification kit, etc. The tall packout on the upper left contains fluids for the Jeep: radiator fluid, engine oil, transmission fluid, gear oil, power steering and brake fluid, etc. The small packout in the middle contains an extra coat rolled up tightly, and small survival gear like paracord, light sticks, lighters, etc. The packout on the upper right contains recovery gear: 3 tow straps, winch rope extension, soft shackles, etc. The red bag in front of the packouts is a tent. The Gama bags on the sides contain defensive weapons and ammo, along with water bottles, MREs, etc. The first aid kit is a paramedics bag, complete with tourniquets, Quick Clot, sutures and everything else. Under the rear seat are items like a brush lopper, axe, shovel, air hose for the on-board air, etc.
You sir, are my hero. Excellent loadout.

I like your list! Thank you!

Got me thinking about packing a walkout pack. I have all the same already loaded up for long hauls but this idea of a walkout pack never occurred to me. Got me motivated and gave me something to do for this weekend.

You guys are really well organized. I have a small toolbox specifically for the Jeeps. It has at least 5 10mm sockets in it at all times. IYKYK...
I have tupperware bins full of recovery gear, fire starters, water purifiers, etc that I can ratchet strap into place. I also have a small knapsack with things like bug spray, bandaids, tylenol/motrin, etc. And a big backpack filled with splints, sutures, etc. If I open this one, someone has had a VERY bad day. They normally live in the garage and get put in the Jeeps before we go someplace.

Most of the gear is duplicated, so we have a full set in each Jeep. Because feces occurs.

I also leave a Glock 17 in each of the cars all the time, and when we're out, depending on where we're going, I may also take a long gun.

I have hmmwv scissor jacks also. In the bag and portable. Have extras...

Yes. Well mine do/did.

I added rubber stripping and rubber washers and most has gone away.

I’ve had the XG Cargo bags since 2019 and moved them from my previous jeep to the 392. They’ve held up great and I keep all my soft recovery gear in them for easy access.

I’m glad you’re having a good experience with them. Off-roading with mine, they shook enough to pop the threads on the driver side mount just this weekend. Not happy with their quality. The zipper is also cheap and easily missed a tooth if not aligned just right.

View attachment 41293Would love to show mine off. Back is AAL and back seat bracket I made myself
I'd love to know a bit more about how you made the back seat bracket. How does it attach to the seat back (if at all)? If not, what keeps it from sliding around? Does it fold up or remove completely? Thanks for sharing what looks like a great solution.

Thanks for asking! I made the tray to fit when I put the rear seats down to a Molle panel mounted to my AAL floor in the rear. The tray fits to the Molle panel with 4 bolts and takes about 5 mins to install. The tray does not fold up but does fit nicely in the garage with the Sideo crates I use. Ill post some pictures later today.

Hopefully this helps. I made the tray from 1.5” L shaped aluminum from Home Depot

My AAL doesn't at all.
Same. I am surprised with as much metal has been added to the jeep, that they are not squeaks/rattles, but none. Recommend AAL setup
