I have had the non-– painted Borla on several cars and it holds up very well. What would you do with the "warranty" on the black Borla--take it off, park the car and send it back ($200?) for re-painting?

I bet you would snap some photos, send to Borla, and they’d send you new parts. Kinda how most things work like this.

If it’s less hassle for you go stainless. Black fits my build more and unless it wearing is a problem with Borla’s products, im not worried. A quick Google search yields nothing of the sort

I want to apologize. Looks like Borla's million mile warranty does not apply to black coatings and they only offer a 1 year warranty on that finish. That's a hard pass for me. I have switched to Chrome.
 
Has anyone ever heard their ATAK in person? That's thing is LOUD! And if you're hauling a camper/trailer, the noise tends to be a bit intolerable. I wonder how "silent" silent mode is for that. But that's just me. :)

I'll be going with the S-Type. :cool:

It's wild how the SwitchFire helps with this. I've heard it on the TRX and it's actually not as insane as it on a Mustang or Camaro surprisingly. I do agree silent mode will definitely help quiet it down.
