I just have to say….

Hi everyone,
I just have to say. Of all the forums I’ve been on since the inception of forums and the internet, This 392 group is the best damn forum I’ve ever been a part of. The people here just seem to be genuinely interested in their rigs, sharing information, asking questions, no egos (for the most part), and just a willingness to be a part of a community that is supportive. As for the egos, well, if we’re buying 392 Wrangelrs, we all have some level of grit that got us here, right? 🤓
Jokes aside, this forum is just the best. I’m on the wrangler forum, Cybertruck forum, some others no vehicle related, and still, this is it.
Yes, I’m the dick buying a Cybertruck. 🤣
I would echo all of this. I haven’t been on here long, and I am a Jeep noob (in the past 2 years). I feel like I ask a lot of noob questions that have probably been beat to death and suck at remembering to search before asking. There have been times I have posted something and thought to myself that someone is gonna wreck me for asking this again. To this point, everyone has been super cool and helped me, so everyone is appreciated. Special shout out to @Viking Jeeper for enduring my private messages too. 😂

So how's that Jeep arms race you are having with a family member? ;)

I joined the Facebook 392 group recently and have been craps posted by members. There are some nice stuff but not to the extend here we discuss. People ask questions on FB but the answers are not to this level we have here.

I also joined the JL forum and lots of the resources are very helpful too, which I use to enrich my knowledge from the general JL perspectives.

I often post the links from this jeep392.com forum to share a more in-depth answer and even expand the discussion. This site is very valuable with lots of respectful members! Let's keep up with the good work.
I am on 3 different Facebook 392 groups. Which one did you join?

Well, that depends on your definition. I’m still trying to figure out why we can both throw on a camo hat and aviator sunglasses but I get half the Jeep waves. I think Jeep wise, I am the clear winner but we are going up to Pigeon Forge around Christmas and she is adamant about taking her 392 and not mine. This is obviously a plot to get a good mountain pic of her 392 in an effort to win Jeep of the month here. Little does she know I have plans to take the top off mine if it ever cools off. I want to see her do that with her fancy retractable roof. (DO NOT POST IDEAS ON HOW TO DO SO). 😂

It's nice that the focus is on the 392 version rather than a sub forum of a larger Wrangler site. Every member has something in common.
Yes! we all got a great taste

I am so glad that no one here trying to put down anyone on this group like those 392 groups on Facebook. I never understand why anyone on those groups make negative comment on any post.

I have no right to question anyone upgrade or installation since I am not the one paying for it. I just like to see each member enjoying what they did to their 392 and that to me is priceless.

Same…. Although, I quit FB a number of years ago, and last year, IG. Was on Tik-Toxic for about a month. Now, it’s just two forums and Linked In, which is starting to become a turd unto itself.

I'm changing my stance on this forum. It sucks,,,,, money from my wallet with ever new post about an available mod that I now got to have. Maybe a new sub forum is warranted: 392 Mod Addiction. Sort of a safe place to help protect us from this viscious cycle of constantly modifying our factory perfect beasts.

Now off to compressor/bracket shopping I go.

I was thinking @ramos1214 should get us all discounts, as I believe he owns a shop? 😜

You're buying a cyber dick? That's awesome. Seriously, welcome to the forums.

I can always give you guy discounts except for S&B products.

Honestly the only reason I am adding those products is to maximize the efficiency of 6.4. I still thinking about a cam upgrade, but I need to research a bit more.

I'll be posting pics and MOD list soon. I did the Richard Petty 540HP package that has an upgraded cam. It runs so good and I like that lope sound from upgraded cam.

I usually just creep on this forum but when I do ask a question, the members here are very helpful and nice. And I appreciate y'all not treating me like I'm some stupid girl that doesn't understand her 392 🙄

Also, thanks to @RugbyRef, @Viking Jeeper, and @Shortcut - installing my muffler skid plate today.
Jeep Girl Yes... Stupid Girl? Hell no!
I also had the after thought (reading some posts here) of putting color between the muffler and the 'R H 4X4' cutout in the skid plate. 392 bronzish/goldish something or other? Not on the muffler, but something on the backside of the skidplate it self where the cut-out is located.

I'll post up what I decide on doing.

For veteran Jeep owners no matter when or what ever model Jeep you own or have owned... We know, the acronym "JEEP" is short for "Just Empty Every Pocket". ;)

I have an 06 LJR and have been very active on a TJ forum for a few years right after I got a TJ. One of the most knowledgeable TJ guys in the world is on there but so many of his posts are not helpful. He is sarcastic, insulting, belittling. It has made me separate somewhat from that forum even though there are loads of great people there. Glad that is not happening here.
I just got on that wranglertjforum as well. Im trying to track down a TJ unlimited/LJ myself. Id prefer one thats near stock so I can make changes myself. It not easy to get one without rust! Hopefully, I'll find a good one at a reasonable price soon. Wish me luck!

You might be interested in checking out LJ Nation on Facebook. Very good group of LJ owners on there. They require evidence of actual LJ ownership to join the group which is easy to provide. Instructions are on the Facebook page. When attempting to land on the page initially, you may find yourself on the other LJ Nation which is the Lebron James page.
