LOL - agree to disagree.Well it isn’t really yellow….you put the red seats in a hella yella and you have a seriously good looking Jeep.
I bought a White Gladiator with Dana 60's and steer smart front end and 40's and too much to list that the owner of the dealership built for himself but I could not stomach the tan/camel old lady interior. He said he did it so he would get the dark grey dash instead of the red dash as it was a Rubicon.Hey guys,
So I’m going through a rough time with my 392 order (seen in my only other post on this forum), and it’s all because of the fire engine red seats they require to be in every single 392. I have an order in for Sarge Green and I’m about to cancel it and put a new order in (or just stick with my 2023 4xe) because I can’t stomach the idea of driving around like it’s Christmas 12 months out of the year. Green, red, and bronze. I don’t think I could pick uglier colors if I tried.
Yellow on red on bronze? Red on red on bronze? Blue on red on bronze? Green on red on bronze? This makes those colors unbuyable unless you’re willing to pay thousands more to reupholster the seats and/or have seat covers. Idk about you but I cannot stomach the idea of paying almost $100 thousand dollars for a Jeep Wrangler and then having to immediately pull out the seats because they are atrocious. Just the idea that you’re paying $100k for a jeep wrangler and not given the option to choose between red seats and a black seats is offensive. And on top of that, they get rid of the one color that the red seats would look best with: sting gray!
I know jeep has smart people working for them and I love their products (I’ve had a 22 gladiator Mohave, a 22 Sahara 4xe and now a 23 rubicon 4xe), but somebody please tell me what they were thinking? Maybe I’m missing something?
(Rant over)
You should probably stop eating at crappy burger places. The red/yellow combo has been a staple in racing for decades, and like 80% of modern Ferraris feature a red/yellow scheme.Hella yella with red isn't the worst, but definitely not attractive imo. Definitely makes me think McDs.
You can go ahead and laugh at my Vette.Unless you are 6’ 4” and wear a cape, blue over red should be a hell no. And I’ll laugh my butt off if I ever see one.
I can’t believe that will be the only option though, I think they are just featuring it to drive orders of colors that actually go with it (white, silver, black, gray).
If my order ever comes in, I will dump the black seats in favor of something similar to the old high Altitude light gray with bronze stitching.
I agree with you completely. I was going to say with all the hate, there sure is a whole lot of orders going in for the ‘24. I can’t wait for mine to get here, red seats and all.Haven't we beat the ugly lipstick red seats and the ugly renegade grill to death yet? This is what it is, I happen to like the grill and I don't believe the seats are lipstick/fire engine red more of a merlot wine color. I'll know for sure when mine is finally delivered, was hoping this week but it just got pushed to the 17th. It's not like the complete interior is red, it's only the seats and stitching... So you have a few choices, buy something older with Black, hope they add black seats as an option later, reupholster the seats in your color choice and make your Jeep your own! or Buy something other then a 392 or find someone with a different model that would likes the red and swap them. geesh! I think we all wish there were more colors to pick from both in and outside!
Haven't actually eaten at McDs since about 2003. Just don't like their food anymore. I mean the combo is better than orange and green or purple and yellow. I guess it looks ok on a Ferrari though. Just did a search to check out a few and the title of this pic made me laugh though:You should probably stop eating at crappy burger places. The red/yellow combo has been a staple in racing for decades, and like 80% of modern Ferraris feature a red/yellow scheme.
They've grown on me. I have a 20A on the way and I have to say I like the red and black seats. The seat belts I'm not sold on yet.I agree with you completely. I was going to say with all the hate, there sure is a whole lot of orders going in for the ‘24. I can’t wait for mine to get here, red seats and all.
Agree. I was one who really hated the seats...now not so sure. Granted with a Red jeep coming YES I would have preferred black (or the 20 A seats) but If I really do not like them... well I will get new covers for them. It's not that much more in the overall scheme of things. Hell I think some dealers would put Katskinz on and roll it into the loan if you are that worried.OP, IMO, if you can afford a 392, you can afford to replace the seats. Somebody out there will buy the red ones.
Same... with some (the majority at least) of the colors. I'm actually excited for the Anvil/red combo like the 10th Anniversary.I don't remember if it was here or the fb group, but I saw a red one recently. I thought it was going to be too much red, but I actually liked the way it looked.
That's why I requested to flip my Sarge order to Firecracker Red...Same... with some (the majority at least) of the colors. I'm actually excited for the Anvil/red combo like the 10th Anniversary.
But with Sarge? No thanks... can you say "driving Christmas all year long?"
High Velocity? Pass. Unless you are a huge Ronald McDonald fan...
LOL, yep definitely laughing at that. You can go ahead and laugh at my Vette.I love blue with red interior. Heck, I love red interior with most anything but Orange. That is a NO from me!
I still don't understand why Jeep would only offer red, though. Why in the world not offer black, as well?!
OP: I had red put in my Sting Gray Rubicon.
I completely agree. I called to check in on the 392 2024 edition (I have a 2022 Jeep 392 XR and using as a daily driver so already have over 36K miles so I am hoping to purchase one more and store it before they discontinue them (It drives so smooth you wouldn't believe). I was super excited so see that had they continued its production, but the red seats are such a turn-off that I could not consider purchasing it. I hope they allow black leather interiors on their Jeep 392 XR in 2025. The Red color looks so nasty and cheap looking. It would look especially bad with other colors besides black. Terrible idea for Jeep 392 designers to make red monitory.Haven't we beat the ugly lipstick red seats and the ugly renegade grill to death yet? This is what it is, I happen to like the grill and I don't believe the seats are lipstick/fire engine red more of a merlot wine color.
