How Are The Red Seats Holding Up

My red seats turned a bit darker from wearing Jeans, but it cleaned right up and they are just fine!

Yeah, I saw my driver-side bolster was catching some blue at the seam from me dragging my bottom across it when I enter and exit. So now, I elevate over it when I'm getting in and out. I ask my few passengers to elevate, not drag. LOL. It's so easy for them to drag when getting into this high-profile vehicle when their primary focus is naturally directed to maneuvering the height while holding the handles. Most of my friends have never been in a Jeep before, let alone any seat that high from the ground. They all cheerfully accommodate, wanting the new experience of the Jeep.

Hello team of amazing people.

Since the 2024 FE order banks are now closed and a 2025 392 can't be ordered yet, the only option for now is a regular 2024 with red seats or find a final edition.

I have found a couple of decent deals on the regular 392 and was wondering how the red seats look after some usage.

I saw a couple of posts on the Facerbook and they had some stains that there were having trouble getting out. I was just curious how they looked.

I have posted many a time about getting a 24 and I still hold on to that dream.

Thanks in advance!
My 24 is black so the seats look great. Using Armorall leather cleaner/protechtant the seats are easy to maintain

Search youtube for the ceramic coating used with white tesla seats. Gyeon or something like that. I used that on my Light tan BMW seats and it works perfect for making jean dye transfer and other stains easy to remove. I have yet to put it on the Rubicon but will be shortly.

Ok. Here goes…
I’m the oddball. I absolutely love my ketchup and mustard rig. Wife calls it Ronald McDonald.
Pic was when new mostly stock fwiw.
Btw, 4500 miles in 4 months and they look like new.
I had a 1971 440 Cuda several years ago. It was Curious Yellow, look similar to your Jeep color. I really think it’s a great color.

I’m in the same boat as a bunch of others here I agree that the red interior looks best with certain exterior colors as I feel it clashes with some others… I really wasn’t enthused about a red interior until I owned it now I love it. Mine has a white exterior.

This is why we can’t just take anything online. When the red seats first came out , I remember the hate and how discouraging. The truth came out after a year of actual and real life experience. I’ve never seen and heard anyone in an Offroad world or any regular Joe that have seen a Jeep 392 with red seats in person that said , “ I hate those red seats”. In fact, most will say, they’ve never seen or knew red seats are available in Jeep Wrangler. How they admired and how the red seats look paramount compare to the black ones. They really make the Jeep look sporty and luxurious at the same time. The compliments you get is out of this world. Those seats pop out with your windows rolled down too. They just give the Jeep more attention and how attractive and more smiles people give you. It’s almost like they make you look like you have a Ferrari 🤣. I won’t be surprise if someday the 2024 limited released red seats cost more and the one to get. Due to its being rare and a very limited time they
were produced.

When my 392 was brand new, I applied the ‘Gyeon leather ceramic coat’ on the red seats.

After two years, the red seats still looked new..

I highly recommend the Gyeon.

My guess jeep must use something to protect the leather considering the abuse alot of people put them through!
I only have 5000 miles on mine so they look new, jeans especially when new love to leave there mark around the seems
So I always watch for that.

Mine still look brand new, but I haven't even hit the 392 mile mark yet on mine. :sneaky:

For anyone thinking about swapping seatbelts, I have used SafetyRestore twice for my jeeps. You have to send them your seatbelts intact and they will redo them with the color of your choice. They have hundreds of colors. It will brick your jeep for a few days but their turnover getting them back was very quick. Got a text for 20% off today, that’s what made me think about posting.
