How Are The Red Seats Holding Up

Thank you! I have the SOT now and I love it at times, but other times the back windows seem to rattle and it's kind of loud. I have the HotHeads headline and it helps a ton, but not enough. I am happy to hear the sound deadening in the 24 makes a big difference!
Above all, everything anyone else will say, drive several of these things. They drive and perform differently. You will think yourself when you feel the right one.

Bought my 24 392 end of Janaury.

Since then have offroaded it, got interior sandy and muddy and snow.

When the weather warmed, swapped to the softop, left the top down in the baking sun, got caught in the rain that soaked the interior.

Red seats still look great with minimal cleaning and no wear from my 290lbs sitting on the seats.

Thanks for the reply!
I am 280lbs so that's promising to hear!

Red leather seats holding up well. I always use a Jeep sunshade on the front windshield/dash when parked out as the red will fade if you don’t protect it from direct sunlight. They look more racy than my other Jeep’s black seats but do require more maintenance/protection if you want them looking sharp.

Truthfully, I wasn't sold on red at first but have to admit it grows on you. You'll be shocked how many folks remark on the red interior. How GREAT it looks!
Yes, I reacted negatively in the beginning until I saw that the red color in person is not the ketchupy red as seen in pictures. I have the red seats (with Firecracker Red exterior) and I think they are fantastic! Glad I have them.

What might you advise in terms of preventative maintenance of these 2024 392 red seats?

Hello team of amazing people.

Since the 2024 FE order banks are now closed and a 2025 392 can't be ordered yet, the only option for now is a regular 2024 with red seats or find a final edition.

I have found a couple of decent deals on the regular 392 and was wondering how the red seats look after some usage.

I saw a couple of posts on the Facerbook and they had some stains that there were having trouble getting out. I was just curious how they looked.

I have posted many a time about getting a 24 and I still hold on to that dream.

Thanks in advance!
My 2024 392 Final Edition has black seats with red stitching. Beautiful, really.

There isn't really any special maintenance required. If you get them dirty wipe them off. If you spill something on them wipe them off. The only thing I have ever seen damage the color on leather seats is SWEAT! If you wear shorts and sweat on the seats it might damage it over time but it'll take time so simply wipe them off with something clean and wet. You'll be fine! Treatments and oils will definitely discolor them.

I’m in the same boat as a bunch of others here I agree that the red interior looks best with certain exterior colors as I feel it clashes with some others… I really wasn’t enthused about a red interior until I owned it now I love it. Mine has a white exterior.

Great color with the burgundy interior. I thought it was red and everyone calls it red but it's more a burgundy to me.

Ok. Here goes…
I’m the oddball. I absolutely love my ketchup and mustard rig. Wife calls it Ronald McDonald.
Pic was when new mostly stock fwiw.
Btw, 4500 miles in 4 months and they look like new.

My red seats turned a bit darker from wearing Jeans, but it cleaned right up and they are just fine!

I don't drive my 392s enough to see much wear and tear I distribute the usage through multiple vehicles. The seats seem to be holding up good for now. I'm sure over time and use they may not look like new but we will see.

I’ve had mine for about 8 months now with 15k miles so far and the leather seats look fine to me.

This is my one year anniversary of taking delivery of my anvil 392 - got around 7k miles now. The red seats are holding up great for me so far. Also taken it off roading (got a badge of honor sticker to prove it, haha), my kid has spilled ice cream on the back seats, wife and kids get in with sun screen on... I just make sure and clean it when I see stuff like that and so far everything comes out fine.

With the top and doors off, those red seats look absolutely killer in my opinion.

The all red seats in my 20a with 30k miles now are doing fine. No signs of wear just yet.
