Gladiator 392 Swap

Just curious, what transmission did you use? Did you stick with what you had or did you go with the tranny that 392’s come with? I have a 2026 392 that came with drive modes of “4WD Auto” instead of 2WD, “4WD Part Time” instead of 4 high, and 4WD Low. I really couldn’t tell a difference off road.
The only difference I had off road was two big flaws: first, below a half a tank the engine starves of fuel on steep downhill inclines and shuts off, something most 392’s are having an issue with, and I got power steering overheat warning several times, especially when in 4Lo and especially with either locker on.
I’m curious whether you’ve had any of these issues with yours since it’s a swap, or do you ever even go offroad?
