Dealer Markups

Is everyone seeing that dealers are typically marking up the MSRP when trying to buy a stock 392 or deposit for one due into dealer in the next few months? How much?
When I did my research in Dec the range was 5 to 20K. Bought mine at msrp

I have an order at MSRP. Over the weekend I found one out of state, 5 hour drive. It was equipped identical to my order. I thought the existing order would give me some negotiating power, wrong. 30K over MSRP. I will keep on waiting.

Ordered in January from Bay Area dealer before dealer knew MSRP. I promised to pay whatever the MSRP was. When it arrived in early May they wanted 15k over sticker and insisted on a high finance rate. They said I wouldn’t find it for less and they could and did sell it the next day. I walked and ordered over the phone in another state where we have a summer cottage. They offered a $1400 discount on MSRP. I received it last week. They have a customer for life! Will never set foot in that dealer in the East Bay, though this is my 4th FCA car.

I have one AVAILABLE: I status (pending final inspection) sting Grey. I have this order in my name, and just want to get my $2K deposit back.
Anyone interested? I am just not ready for the $ increase in payment.
$5K over MSRP by the way. Hard top.
Austin, TX
Stay away from dealers in metro areas. Rural folks are smarter than us city folks and don’t pay these markups. I ordered in the Bay Area at MSRP in January and on arrival they wanted 15K more. I walked, then ordered from a small town dealer in another state and got a $1400 discount. Yeah, I waited another 3 months… but love my new forever dealer.

That’s messed up. This is why I’m glad I work for an honest dealer that stands behind their customers and sticks up for them whenever possible. Shame on that dealer. This is why we always have the customer sign something saying that they agree to pay $x.xx for their car and sign the build sheet saying it is the correct car
why wife, who always has my back, suggested I call the dealer in the small town out of state where we have a summer cottage. I am now the proud owner of a 392 at $1400 below MSRP.

Move out of your state.

Still interested in selling my Sting Gray with under 500 miles on it. PM for details.

Wow. It’s amazing. Traded a 2019 Rubicon. This is night and day different.
The sound of this beast is worth every dime. If anyone is looking Cape Coral Jeep (Southwest Florida) has a bunch coming in. MSRP. I dealt with the owner Jay Ganzi. Feel free to ask for him. Super nice guy and a beautiful brand new state of the art dealership. 239-500-0000
I ordered mine 5/10 and came in today 8/27. Front camera, Gorilla Glass.

We took delivery of our Rubicon 392 yesterday. Holy cow, this Jeep is so bad ass. So happy with our purchase! The dealership honored their word on the pricing we discussed when I placed my order - no games whatsoever. We drove ~800miles to Texas - when we got there the paper work was ready and we were blowing doors off C7 Corvettes about an hour later.

I have never heard a more beautiful sound from a stock vehicle than the performance exhaust on this Jeep!

If you want one - call Preston Rhoades at Nyle Maxwell in Taylor, TX (423) 315-7405

I miss my 2015 Roush Stage 3 modified intake and SC. It was pure music, I don't think I ever listened to the stereo. My 392 is great, but my Roush was heavenly to hear with it's 4 position active exhaust.
