Condition When Picked Up at the Dealer?

I just heard from a large dealer they drive them to 10 miles. the air bags are activated at the 10 mile mark. can not verify but another piece of the puzzle. Also two larger dealerships i have talked to say the units which have come in all have almost the exact same mileage based on the dealership location and potential misc mileage in transit which makes sense. who knows?! Smaller dealers who gets a few units have no way to judge the mileage. all unknowns
That “airbag activated @ 10 miles” sounds like MUSAAT (Makin up shit at a table)😆
If that were the case a dealer would never deliver a vehicle with less that 10 miles. 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻

I'm curious about the condition in which the 392s arrived at the dealer? How many miles were on the odometer? Please share your experience.
Mine had 17 miles, not a scratch on it.
Preston filled it up w/ gas & gave me a FaceTime tour (complete w/ THE RUMBLE) until I could get over to pick it up.
couldn't be happier -

Believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you see. They will probably make these until the molds break. The Bronco/Bronco Warthog is hot on Jeep's tail !! And the Tesla Cybertruck will take a chunk out of both of their sales !!

Also, consider that we waited 5 months for the first 392 to be made because they were new to the production line. Now that they are being made, time from order to delivery should drop significantly - I think [HOPE]!

Anyways, I orderd one, it was recieved and refused. I am giving Jeep another chance, and will continue to enjoy my loaded 2019 Raptor until it gets here ! (Yes I am trading my Raptor on a Jeep, and yes I have owned a Jeep before, and Yes the Raptor is way better in every regard. I just always wanted a V8 Jeep, so... why not right! You only live once [and the wife said it was Okay!! BONUS !!].)
Yea wife

As of two days ago, 7/22/2021, my 392 entered the storage status. Ugh. Supposedly they are behind in shipping because train/truck availability is low. I hope these 392s don't arrive in the same condition as those early builds that were in storage for months at the beginning of the year.

Hello, I had 81 miles when I picked it up.

Were you one of the early orders? How was the underside? And, did it have something (sticker or papers) stating it was a "test vehicle" or something similar?

22 miles on mine and a little dust but told salesperson not to detail because it's going straight to ceramic shop for 4 coats, ppf, and a detail. She said salespeople like to show them until picked up, but she locked my keys up and made it inaccessible and denied access to it until I could get to it. Very happy with the dealership in Houston area.

Nice! Quick question….is base tire now the version with the white lettering?

I'm not sure if that choice changed. Use the build tool online. See if it gives you a choice. When I ordered, it was a choice. I just didn't want all black wall. Wanted to break it up. I have no plans to change wheels or tires for larger. I'm a stickler with keeping everything original. I know they can be fun to customize and make your own, but mine is staying the way I ordered it.

Thanks. The Jeep build page has BSW as standard with white letters as a $0 cost option, but had heard that the BSW is not available so Jeep has been putting the white lettered tires on the 392 as the default. As I understand it, you can still get the BSW if you order the $195 M/T tire option. Really just curious so I know what to expect. Your 392 looks great in hydro blue. Enjoy!

Thanks I will enjoy when I get it back from ceramic coating shop. Could be i hit it before any change to choice. There was a black one delivered to the dealer same time as mine. It had BSW with same tire.

Question I have is that the Jeep website says that the Jeep 392 has 4G hotspot, not that the Jeep 392 has available hot spot.
It is not on my window sticker, so I can only assume that it is not even a trial of it included.
Correct or incorrect?

Hey BobT, You are Incorrect, you do get a (ATT - 90 Day / 1 GB trial) Hot spot. ATT sent a email asking if I wanted to start the trial, I did start the trial but haven't used it.

Awesome, and thank you for clarifying.
Gotta love this place...

I’m with you wanting to keep things original; however, I made 4 quick mods for functionality and protection: Replaced the rock sliders for Mopar side steps (now I can reach the middle of the roof without a step ladder and clean the windshield without standing in the open doorway); 13 inch rubber antennae (the metal antennae was getting caught on my mountain bike hanging from the ceiling); plastic door sill covers (to keep your feet from scratching the paint in the doorways); and a dead pedal (helps with fatigue and aids in keeping your body stable while maneuvering). All were fairly easy to install; although installing the dead pedal (without removing the front seat) required a lot of twisting and bending of my aging spine....but it was worth the pain.
