I Really like the simplicity of it. The finished tho..... looks like too many weld all over the whole system. Smooth the whole product, then paint it ceramic to eliminate the unfinished look.....price is not an issue if it's done properly. Love the design.

Perfectly stated 👍

The excessive welds on the muffler of the AWE are the reason I’m happy I went with the Borla S-type.

I was gonna get Borla but the fox 3.0 rubs the pipes a bit. Borla is too wide, if you want to put a bigger AeV 8100 2.5 reservoir or fox 3.0 shocks, there's a chance to hit the exhaust. Bad design from Borla, they forgot people like to change and upgrade most parts and rarely leave their Jeeps in stock form. I do like the sound tho and the finished. It is tucked in, so does the even better clearance from magnaflow rock crawler version. It's not just how it's tucked in, it's how narrow the design from AWE that smart and tucked in so the muffler and pipes do not interfere with anything. All they have to do is improve the surface and ceramic coat the exhaust. I'll have to wait more and see what company comes out with less interference.

My Fox 2.5’s don’t hit

Could it be because of your lift? If you go lower than that lift , those shocks would hit that pipe or the fox 2.5 just have less diameter than some. There's a guy here that having problems with the AEV 8100 due to it housing of the shocks are thick and the lift kit is not as high as yours. Imagine the FoX 3.0 or even OME BP-51? Those shocks are thicker , wayyyy thicker. You have to remember, not everyone here has your Jeep. What works for you doesn't mean it will work with others. Nice Jeep tho.

For those that are curious/interested in the AWE Exhaust the official release of corrected info, photos, and videos will be today at 5pm on their website. I spoke directly with AWE yesterday with a few questions pertaining to welds on the muffler and why they went with an H pipe instead.

Really like this design, AWE did a great job and their images! After reading through their installation guide, I can't tell if they are reusing the two valves. Looks like their system comes with two new valves... Anyone can confirm?

New AWE system includes their OE Tier 1 Valves which is great!

Thanks Johnny. I don’t quite understand the Tier 1 valves what you mean by. The included ones are they the same as the factory vacuum actuators? They look alike. I know Borla reused the two factory vacuum actuators.

Jumpin' in to help :)

The valves featured on our configuration are from the same exact manufacturer as the OEM valves. It is literally apple to apple, as it was important to us to ensure everything related to the valve behavior remained the exact same, thus enabling the dash-button control while also allowing them to obey the ECU's commands when the motor is under load (i.e. opening them up when the programmed threshold was met.)

Appreciate the thoughtful design!
