Accepted builds without an allocation

Mine is 76****. Ordered on 4-22. As of yesterday, through Jeep Chat, still D status.

Sounds like your dealer built without having allocation.........I ordered mine on 5-29 and have D1 status already. My salesperson told me that if the dealer doesn't have allocation you'll go into D status........but you'll never receive your schedule date until they do

I read the posts above regarding allocations are required. I read similar posts back in early April when I placed my non allocation order. I have seen several non allocation orders progress while allocation orders from November and December sit. My 4/9 non allocation order is on a train due at the dealer on 7/20. It will arrive before the last 2 allocations for the dealer. I also talked to another dealer yesterday and he told me they had only been getting customer sold orders. I don't know the reason but it seams very random in how the process orders.

If you can get your dealer to get you an estimated ship date this tends to be your actual build date. Not sure why they just don't say that. It wont ship for anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks after that date. Jeep Chat can't get that date for you, but the dealer can. My VIN is 761915 and my est ship date is 7/24. But there are higher VIN's than mine that are already built, including one ordered the same day as mine with the exact same options and color. I ordered 5/12. I'll count myself lucky if it hits the dealer by mid August.
