392s in the wild...

Was at the barber yesterday and “ran into” a Jeeper that knew this family.
Kid?age? snuck out? in his Moms 392 while she was out of town.
Baby in unsecured car seat was ejected - with the seat and plenty of debris - suffered a broken arm +?.

Kids baby momma?cousin?both? Now out of hospital.

Driver fine.

other kid?age? they were with is still in the hospital.

Other drivers OK.

I know the turn well as it’s close by and 100% avoidable even if cross-traffic blew the light.
Definitely moving a quite a clip to flip it . It’s a 110 degree or so left turn crossing a median. Speed limit on the road going into the turn is 35mph and the cross traffic limit is 45.

Ok done editing.
Have a good Sunday gentlemen.

"Walk a little slower, Daddy!" said a little child so small.
"I'm following in your footsteps and i don't want to fall.

Sometimes your steps are very fast, sometimes they're hard to see;
So walk a little slower Daddy, for you are leading me.

Someday when I'm all grown up, you're what i want to be.
Then i will have a little child who'll want to follow me.

And i would want to lead just right, and know that i was true;
So, walk a little slower, Daddy, for i must follow you!!"

Saw a motor home pulling a sting gray 392 in TN or KY this weekend driving home from Atlanta to Chicago. Can't remember. Pulled up up next to him but couldn't see driver since he was so high up.

The owner of that 392 has posted several times about the accident and ordering a new 392 in one or more of the Facebook 392 groups.

Ah, no Facebook for me, Viking.
I'm not a fan of Facebook but reluctantly use it for work and jeep groups. She never told much of a story other than they got t-boned and had some serious injuries. Of course getting T-boned does not mean you were not at fault.

The first 392 I saw in the wild was a hydro blue 392 parked in downtown Santa Fe, NM a few weeks ago around the July 4th time period.

While in Kansas City on the morning of July 29th, I saw a black 392 in the turn lanes on Nall Ave to go west on 435. I happened to catch the light just right and caught a glimpse of the tell tale exhaust as I made the turn. I suspect he heard my 392's exhaust a bit as we accelerated onto 435. We gave each other a friendly wave as we parted ways a bit down the road.

Brought my Sting Gray XR home on Friday. Went to the store today and what do I see? A black 392 XR one parking space over.
Whereabouts?

I’m in the Chicagoland area with a black one and I have seen, in the wild, one other black 392, one orange 392, and one sarge green 392.

Orange? Had to be a Hemi swap or else I would have bought one. Hasn’t been offered yet in the 392 from the factory.

Was definitely orange (a lighter orange, if you will: tangerine), not red. Was confused by it as didn’t think they yet made them in orange, but maybe it just had all of the 392 (non-XR) exterior parts to fake it (had the hood). Or perhaps it was a Hemi swap as you note.

I saw the black one in a best buy parking lot in Riverside.

Hey I was in NM with my 392 during July 4th weekend.

I saw that hydro blue one.

Mine is sarge green!

Wasn’t able to talk to the guy with the Hydro but loved taking my 392 on a road trip

I've seen a hydro blue, sarge green, granite, and a black one in Chicago. They definitely are not common around here.

Still not 1 sighting in the new smyrna/daytona beach area... except during jeep beach! And i dont get ducked either. Yet my kiddos rubi gets hella ducks!

Hmmm, I see one every day! The “Doodle option” is extra!

Saw a Black 392 today in Covington, LA. Went to Home Depot and noticed a 392 pulling out while walking back to my truck. Rushed to truck and caught up with him briefly on the way out. Not a great pic but was able to point to the 392, give him a wave and a thumbs up! Rolled down my window and able to hear the beautiful rumble as he turned on a side road.

Still probably 4 - 5 months out from getting my custom order 392!

That 392 exhaust rumble is intoxicating!

The 392 Wrangler will be a novelty at your local Cars and Coffee in 10-15 years. Dodge performance enthusiasts will be driving 2024 and newer e-Muscle Challengers and Chargers. The performance will still be around but the unique AmerIcan V8 rumble will be gone.

Not one sighting of another 392 here in SE Tennessee. I also drive to Atlanta at least once weekly. Haven’t seen one down there either.
Also, I haven’t been ducked either. Sigh.
Feelin’ kinda lonely…

Spotted a 392XR in Woodland Park today.

Just saw a white one in downtown Charleston, SC, parked near the port site.
Last time I was here, I saw a sting gray in Mt. Pleasant.
there’s also a white on listed on Craigslist here for $88k. It has 550 miles on it.
