35's vs 37's??

I really want to fit 37x13.5’s but all the local shops are saying it’s not possible with the stock 392 lift.

has someone here done it without any problems?
I got the same from local shop, what I found so far is 35 on it is fine unless you off-road then they will rub when flexing and they say 2” will resolve it.
But 37 s you need 3 “ or change springs and replace with long arm .
I’m still working on finding the right mixture for I don’t regret it later.

Glad I found this topic. Been trying to decide.

Probably going with 17” wheels and +18 offset

285/75/17 so 34” so I can still go C rating to keep weight down.

35/11.50/17 are what I did. perfect size and my Toyo’s Are C rated.

Good suggestion. DT doesn’t seem to have them listed so when I order the wheels I’ll get them to order them.

Any changes to drive- MPG/8th gear? I had 35s on my original JL with the 3.6 but it was manual so I had a little more control.

None. They are less than 1 pound difference from my stock falkens. I average about 20MPG…. Didn’t have the 33s long enough to tell any difference. But don’t need anything more than 3.73 to run 35s on a 392.

Thanks for the notes there. Gladiator was different after 35’s so a little suspect figured I’d ask. I’ll go with your suggestion it’s the same weight as 285/75/17s in the same tire

Cheers
