So my JKS 2.5” J-Konnect lift came in and I might tackle it this weekend. Based on the lift being a 1.0-1.75” lift, I did order a set of Terraflex Coil Spacers (.5”) as well. Thought this might make up some height if the lift comes up on the shorter side.

Is there any issue of installing these in conjunction with the JKS lift ? Didn’t wanna throw off any geometry of the JKS lift but I hoped the small adjustment size of .5”wouldn’t be an issue.

I added these same spacers to my Clayton 3.5" lift. I used the Clayton recommended control arm lengths and all of my geometry seems good and the Jeep drives great!

Got the JKS Konnect 2.5” lift on today. Wasn’t too hard … but not very easy either when doing it solo!!!! 😁

I’ll get better pics tomorrow or Monday. I ended up with 1.5” all around which was my goal so I’m glad I included using the .5 Teraflex spacers !!!!

Solo installs suck…lol. It look great!

I did just tried my electronic sway bar disconnect and it won’t disconnect. I hear the motor but it never disengages. JKS recommends 9” from center to center which is where I set them. I assume I should unhook the links and extend them slightly or am I going about it wrong ?

**** updated**** Slight adjustment and connect /disconnect works

Installed my ASFIR Engine/Tranny Skid Plate and the ASFIR Transfer Case Skid Plate. Install was pretty easy but the directions that come with the kits could have been better detailed. Again …. 4 hands would be a much better number…..guess I need better friends 😁

Overall weight doesn’t seem too bad and they will definitely help rocks and trail items slide past these vulnerable areas. There also seems to be enough space to allow heat to escape and air flow to enter. It also protects the exhaust at its lowest point which seemed to be an issue waiting to happen.

Curious if you have taken measurements and have driven both yours and your sons Jeep to compare height and ride quality between the two lifts?

Hi,
I am considering the very same 2.5" lift from Teraflex. Did you gain 1.5" with the 0.5 spacers already installed or you installed them after gaining finally 2.0".
Also, those spacers were necessary because of rub or it just looks better? What about highway ride quality?

Many thanks for the answers,
Andrej.

No… I got 1” with the lift. The spacers got me to 1.5”. I’m at 6.3 caster as she sits which drives great and the quality of the JKS ride is fantastic. Just get good shocks!!

I seen too many 3.5” lifted jeeps with 37s that just didn’t look right to me ( too much space between tire and fender) this is why I went 2.5” but had the spacers incase. I know each company’s lift and coil rates are different which makes each lift outcome slightly different. I can say if I went back I’d probably have done the JKS 3.5” as I bet it would have been perfect for my taste and wouldn’t have needed the spacers !!

thanks a lot for hyperquick reply.
I have to stick with Teralfex, because I already ordered 2.5",, but got 4.5" instead (they said they thought I want +2.5). Since I have only 2" garage clearance at stock, 1" lift would be perfect (1" left for 37" tires) + no need for new arms and shocks. I might add 0.25" spacers on rear tires for a bit more aggresive stance.

Completed my first oil change today at 2,000 miles with Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0W-40 and Mopar MO-899 filter.. Also added the ValvoMax Quick Twist during the process and emptied my JDL Oil Separator…….definitely does its job !!!!

Added a disconnect to the winch power wire. Found an easy mounting location that is easy to access and is out of the way. I pulled the factory bolt and drilled the center of the bottom cover on the disconnect and mounted it . I then wired her up and attached the disconnect body to the mount and installed the 4 Allen head retaining screws . Seems like a clean install.

I’m more impressed with the garage. Looks amazing.

I’m still looking for the box of crayons though. 👀
