2021 392 99 mph speed limit.

One reason I was adamant about getting an XR was because I wanted the 110mph governor/limiter from the factory. I like to pass and occasionally go overboard trying to run with Chargers, Challengers, and Mustangs. They want to “test“ it and I’m happy to albige. ITS A FUN VEHICLE, AND I BOUGHT IT TO HAVE FUN. You max out so quickly, BUT I wanted a fast WRANGLER. I will say though it gets real “floaty” at greater than 105mph when you aren’t going in a straight line. The “engine” is made to go fast…not the rest. I probably wouldn’t free the limiter beyond 110mph.

Nope, what I do have is the ability to set a goal, make a plan to meet the goal, and keep working at the plan until the goal is reached.

Took my 9 years to save up to buy the Diablo and 6 years to buy the FGT. For a middle class Engineer that meant hundreds of hours in overtime each year, and taking in side work.

So if you consider 15 years of sweat equity a humble brag, go right ahead, I’m proud that I met these goals without spending a dime of my regular paycheck.
I am the same I work many months over seas minimum 12-16 hrs a day...EVERYDAY...no time off...when I get time off I'm going to play! The 392 is just pure fun, have really enjoyed it...I drove 1000's of miles for my Dad working when I was young at 80 mph to 120 mph mile after mile state after state...I was raised driving fast...Praise God only one minor accident in all those years, but a few white knuckled moments seared into my memory for sure...

I don't need to go over 100 in my Jeep, I got a GE engine for that...

All the fun is between 0-60ish off a stop light, especially next to a Honda or other lil' FWD car with an obnoxious fart can and lot's of graphics, gotta have the graphics. Oh... and I love tunnels! I roll in a little below normal speed and then let 'er rip tater chip, sounds like a Formula 1 car exiting the tunnel in Monaco.

Got pulled over just like @LTZ470, just after I got my 392, told the cop, yup I was just being a hooligan, write me up sir. He asked about the Jeep then let me go with a warning. Now I look around carefully before taking off on that fart can Honda.

As much as I love high speed driving, NO WAY would I want to get into triple digits with a Wrangler.

I’ll stick with my Lamborghini Diablo Roadster or Ford GT for that purpose, they are both engineered and rated for 200+ mph driving.
I’ve taken mine to the 110 mph limit on the XR it wasn’t that bad, I didn’t even realize I was going that fast. That was with stock tires and the factory suspension. I wouldn't do that now with the 38s and lifted suspension, it handles much differently now, not as stable at higher speeds.
