$1 Million Worth of Stolen Vehicles Recovered in Texas ‘Chop-Shop’ Bust, 3 Arrested

Shit! This guy is teaching those thugs…

I have Ravelco and this makes me not peaceful…
Yes sir not good...the highly experienced thieves already know these tricks more then likely...but now every wannabe thief will have a working knowledge for sure...

Ravelco says the videos are fake and staged, with nothing to back up their claims.

Why didn’t they respond: “Not possible to bypass in this manner”…🤔

I would also read all the comments on the video as well…

I’ve been trying to get them to answer this. How exactly are the videos fake and if they have anything to back up their claims. They won’t answer this.

In fact, they have responded antagonisticly with a link to try and steal my personal information.

Very poor responses and customer service.

Stay away from Ravelco. Very poor customer service.

He doesn’t copy the connections, he uses a simple tester to deduce which connections are the “hot” and “ground” then works from there, seems very legit way to bypass…

Yeah, they couldn’t deny that the shown method would work.

They did say that for an additional fee, an installer could come back out and do something with the connections that would prevent the shown method from working. They would not disclose what they would do. This did not make sense to me.

They still claim no vehicles with a Ravelco have been stolen.

“Send a tech back out”…. Why would they say that if the vid is a fake and the Revelco is unbeatable….
And for an additional FEE?!? 🤔 🤣

My input is that the Ravelco should not be mounted where you can easily access the plug like shown in video. Best if tuck up under dash and out of site and facing down so you really can't see what you are pinning out. Sucks they are beaten now.

I just emailed my installer Chuck Whigham, will see how he responds.

If it turns out to be an easy bypass as shown in the video, their false claim can face a potential lawsuit I suppose.

Reply from Chuck:

How are you? We are sorry for the delay, it was a very busy day. Frankly, this is NOT the first time and it won't be the last time that someone has tried to discredit and debunk the Ravelco. Truthfully, this has been occurring for the last 48 years. Honestly, like anything else- Bypassing the Ravelco appears to be easy when it has been staged. Jonathan Rodriguez is part of the problem, not part of the solution. He is irresponsible, unethical and reckless. His actions to discredit the Ravelco are a disservice to consumers and the industry as a whole.

In short, what you see in the video transpires in a controlled environment and setting where a hungry IGLA distributor in Dallas Fort Worth, Texas possesses both the Ravelco Plug and the Transponder Key for the respective Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat.

More importantly, time is allotted to complete the task behind the scenes and then stage the task and record it on video. Frankly, IGLA is our competitor and they are extremely threatened and intimidated by the street tested and street proven success of the Ravelco as well as its reputation. Ironically, all of our Russian, Ukrainian, and the like steer clear from the IGLA products because they know better! In addition, from a mathematical standpoint, the Ravelco has an enormous market share, out sells the IGLA 3:1, and why it is the ONLY competing product mentioned on their own website i.e. https://iglaus.com/competitor-comparison/

Fact is, Time is of the essence for any Steal Team and the likelihood of a Steal Team approaching your vehicle the first time and defeating the Ravelco is highly unlikely. This is primarily due to the following characteristics:

• The design of the Ravelco.

• The materials used to construct the Ravelco.

• The function of the Ravelco.

• The multitude of circuits available in the engine compartment that may be selected to properly configure and install the Ravelco in any given application.

• The proprietary methods Mid-Atlantic Ravelco, LLC incorporates to custom prepare our Ravelco wire harnesses.

• Mid-Atlantic Ravelco, LLC signature and trademark Tucked Ravelco Mounts.

• The manner in which Mid-Atlantic Ravelco, LLC routes the Ravelco wire harness in our installations in and throughout the electrical wire harness in your engine compartment.

Bottom Line
Honestly and above all other factors- do you really think that in over 48 years, Jonathan Rodriguez from Circuit Breakers Security and Performance (An IGLA Dealer) is the ONLY individual worldwide with the capacity, intelligence, wit, tenacity, and determination capable of performing what he claims? ...It just doesn't make sense!

With that being said, I am a Master Certified Ravelco Technician and Target Hardening Specialist- my recommendation to you would be to have multiple layers of security on your vehicle. In short, you should protect your vehicle much like you do your own body from hot or cold weather using Layers. In today's world you have Steal Teams and NOT Johnny The Jumper Man. Today's Steal Teams are very aggressive, technically proficient, and highly sophisticated. Every great product serves a purpose and usually does it BEST. No one device can effectively and efficiently address every concern and threat and selecting what solutions work best to provide you "Peace of Mind" is the key. For example, special forces soldiers wear ballistic vest, ballistic body armor, ballistic armored insert panels, ballistic helmets, ballistic eye protection, ballistic gloves, ballistic boots, and carry a ballistic utility pack filled with ammo, grenades, flash bombs, tear gas, wear a side firearm, and carry an automatic assault rifle, etc.

Having said that, you may want to consider the following for your vehicle in addition to the Ravelco:

rimlox.com to Target Harden your wheels, tires and brake calipers from Wheel Thieves.

https://www.tiktok.com/@beebotows?_t=8gqtGzrRTp5&_r=1

addshocksensor.com to add a shock sensor to your existing OEM factory security system to detect when a window is broken.

Multiple Hidden Air Tags to locate your vehicle in the event that it is pushed or towed with another vehicle.

I hope that this helps!

Chuck is a good person, and the line about their Tucked Mount is very helpful preventing access to the Ravelco.

Not that price matters, in Michigan, IGLA with add-ons is quoted at $1,800 plus subscription.
Ravelco was $700.

Thieves suck rocks!

Chuck gave a much friendlier and informative response than I got from the manufacturer at help-info@Ravelco and from Rich at California-Ravelco.

Tucked Ravelco mount was never mentioned or offered. Curious about it, but probably too late to get it if already installed.
