I flat tow mine regularly we well. I have the Blue OX base plate, factory front bumper, Warn 10S winch. all fits well. I also run the factory front skid which I waded to slot to make the Blue Ox base plate tabs clear. Been through the Rubicon with it.
I wanted to add a final comment to this thread for those towing 392's behind their RV's and wanting to save fuel on their rig plus wear and tear on their 392. Here is how, even though many have shared great success towing their 392 here is something you can do to make it even better.
I finally got around to finishing my FAD implementation on the front axle and control system. Turned on forced RWD with the Tazer and was impressed. The front axle can now be disengaged allowing the ring and pinion in the front axle to be stationary and no longer turn while driving. This...
