What is with people in Long Island, NY ?

No offense to anyone that lives there, but doing business across the entirety of the USA, we seem to encounter the most issues in 2 specific locations . My hometown of Kansas city, specifically , Johnson County, Kansas, and secondly, Long Island, NY. Not NY, or NY, NY, specifically , the island.

I really have no idea what is in the water in these 2 locations, but there is a very real sense of entitlement that flows through there texts and messages, as well as their phone interactions with myself or one of our reps.

Today we spoke to a gentleman who is looking to ship a 2020 Tesla Model 3 and a 2019 Maserati . The person expected the world (exact pickup times, exact delivery dates ) and of course also was looking for Walmart pricing at the same time. This is usually the type of person that will end up getting ripped off in search of some fairy tale price.

We had a little back and forth, I'll post the messages. Curious what others think lol...

Lol it comes from all parts of the island to be honest. There is a marked difference between people living on the island VS anyone in New Jersey (usually). Boston might be a close second to the island , but typically better .

I'd just let them go find their rock bottom crappy service and deal with whatever problems that brings them. If they're not willing to pay what's expected for what they want, let them burn their cash and find out the hard way. Entitled customers are the worst.
