Texas 392 Owners Thread

[392 XR]

I received my first 392 in 8/21 after it was originally ordered on 11/19/20.
I'm going to trade or sell the first one for my next XR392 ordered on 7/28/21 which is due for delivery to the dealer as early as this weekend. There are a few guys here that also know me on other forums.

If you are still waiting to receive a 2021 order I think the recent 1/13/22 transport train arrival to Texas will also have yours on it. Now we just need to get them delivered to the dealers.

Why are you trading in a 2021 for a 2022? The XR package????

Mine got to Kirby TX on the 9th, still on the yard and I am still waiting for it to be picked up and taken to the dealer.

Yup - sorta - I had already ordered the MY21 XR392 before my first 392 even arrived.

Hi all, great info on timelines. Do you have any recommendations or contacts for Texas dealership agreeing to order under msrp? I see Chapman and others out of state have 10% off msrp.

Don’t know any dealers in state below, but at least they’ll all order at MSRP for you. Several Texas folks used out of state dealers at below and are all having good experiences with them so far…

Placed my order on 07/03/21 and I was able to pick it up 295,200 minutes… 460 miles into it right now, can’t wait to hit that 500 miles mark!

While my 392 is under construction,
We took our sons Ben and Levi to Hidden falls Adventure Park in Marble Falls, Texas so Ben could start his off-road driving education in his jeep! he did great to include going over, up and down some rock obstacles! Threw some flashback photos to him when he was 3 off-roading with me!

Just wanted to give the Texas folks a heads up if looking for a used 392. My wife and I went and looked at this one as part of our search for her new rig. This one has a clean carfax but has been hit/rear-ended. It looks like either previous owner or dealer did a half assed job fixing as they replaced the rear bumper (though it doesn’t look like the oem 392 bumper) as well as the exhaust which is stamped Mopar but it’s a single exit small exhaust that doesn’t use the active valves ( they were ziptied) next to hangar. You can see paint damage under the bumper and then the fender liner is cracked and torn and the rear shock is leaking. Inside the jeep was decent but the sound system had been changed to a cheap after market setup and is missing a speaker cover up front. Our salesman noticed the damage as we pointed it out and felt it must have occurred while on the lot. Buyer beware here
