I finally got the trailer out. The weather was great, the kids had no activities so we decided to do a camp out.

It wasn’t a campsite in the middle of nowhere, but it was conveniently close to home good for a breakout evening with the kids and dog. It’s a Good thing it was only 1 night! I parked too close to the fire pit so we had to make s’mores over the camp stove. I also forgot the kids drinks so just water.

Awesome day! This is what it's all about.

We went to the Jeep Jamboree Expedition in Moab, UT a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic…the Expedition is a little different and is limited to 8 participants and the minimum build reas of 37” tires, lockers front and rear, winch and skids kept the group at somewhat parity and allowed us to move pretty fast.

First full day in Moab we ran Top of the World with another attendee and wow, it is amazing destination.
The jammboree we ran:
Day 1: Fins and Things and Hells Revenge
Day 2: Poison Spider
Day 3: 7 Mile Rim - this was also the day of the eclipse and Moab had 95% blackout so we left and hour early to be on top of a cliff and an attendee brought glasses for everyone…it was amazing.

My wife and I also hiked arches the first day and we stayed a day later to hIke Canyon Lands and Dead horse point…keep in mind these parks are HUGE and you could hike for weeks in each one…Amazing trip But after the 14 hour drive to get there and then spending all week in the Jeep the 14 hour drive home felt like 140! LOL! All of the Jeeps performed amazing and of the 8 attendees 3 were 392’s!

Camping tips…sure, stay at the Moab Elements by Westin…great breakfast and hot tub each night!

All the vids say they are too large to upload…sorry.

And after the Moab trip we decided to get a tow rig and found a good deal on a leftover 23 model. Heading to North Texas Friday to pick up a trailer…

Arkansas Hills today on and around Wilson Mountain, Salem Springs Road near Salem, Arkansas...

We are heading to Hot Springs off-road park November 30 through December 3rd if you are in that area…

That would be awesome, but I'll be back in Saudi Arabia by then...😒

Did a little winter car camping in Davis and Thomas WV this past weekend.

We headed to Hot Springs Arkansas for Christmas through New Years and took both Jeeps. Clocked over 150 offroad miles including 4 Badge of Honor trails and several miles through the Ouachitas. This was the first drive after getting my new build consisting of TeraFlex 3.5 RT3, Falcon 3.3s, Alpine upper and lower control arms, Raceline wheels and 37x12.5x17 Ridge Grapplers.

I was super impressed. Much better on the road than stock and a whole different league offroad. I am still on 3.73s, which I thought would be a nightmare but my shop recommended trying it out first before we decided on gears. To my surprise, they seemed completely fine. Probably a little slower 0-60 but did great on the highway and off-roading.
