I e-mailed my dealer this morning requested a color change for my 2023 order.

I’m going with Earl Clear-Coat for my 392. It just became available this morning along with Limited Edition Reign.

The bottom photo shows a spray out of what Earl actually look like. Yes, the two colors look very different.

A while back someone leaked a picture from a 2023 Canadian brochure I believe (not sure if here or on another site) and the color was like your swatch and not the stock jeep one.

I just placed an order for a 392 in Reign. The picture of the Wrangler in Earl looks way different...and much better than the actual color you sprayed. Earl looks like a light primer coat. But each to their own.

Yes, I fully agree. I wonder if Reign is just Plum Crazy with a new name.

I didn‘t spray the color, just found it on the good old interweb.

Just got this from the 2022 Jeep Canadian site. Couldn't open the 2023 brochure without signing up for something.

Also, funny how they price Canadian colors differently than the U.S. (i.e. Sarge Green - free).

Earl looks to be very similar to Porsche's Chalk (or Crayon if you are in Europe)

Pretty sure the car above with the blu-ish tint is NOT earl.

I think so too. However in the pic you posted, it looks spectacular with the rubi red accents. If the 392 accents were red, I’d switch to it.

Damn, I keep thinking about Earl now. I'm currently on a Sarge order.

I go through all the colors: I don't want white, Gray, Silver, or black. My JKU was GCM. Loved it but want something with at least some color now. I love hydro, but it's a bit over the top for me, as are red, reign, and high velocity. That leaves me with Sarge, which I like a lot (and as I mentioned before, missed out on when I got my GCM 16 75A).

My plans with sarge were to possibly get some khaki/tan/spice seat covers and the same color soft top. It just has this cool military-esque vibe that I love. Plus my first TJ (and first jeep ever) was green with tan top.

I know Earl is a gray, but that faint blue hue it has gives it a depth that I really like though. argh.

I came sooooo close to going with Sarge to replicate my TJ but didn't want to be redundant. I love my 392 but this will always be my favorite Jeep for personal reasons.

That's the color mine was, but it was a sport instead of sahara.

If it was the jeep I JUST had prior, I would have gotten something other than Sarge, but it's been long enough that I'm ready to bring a green jeep back.

We had a 2016 in extreme purple. I think reign is close but probably just enough different to have a different paint code. You'll get a lot of people who like it and those who don't but who cares. The only issue we had was eventually everytime our friends saw a purple jeep they thought it was us. As if we had the only purple one in town.
