Rear bumper

This one is absolutely bullet proof and can accommodate a 40" tire. You can also add a bumper mounted tire carrier, which I have. It has endured 30k miles of heavy off-road abuse and I wouldn't hesitate replacing it if something ever happ ns to my rear bumper.

The bumper from @prodriquez is nice, I like how it almost looks like it could be OEM.

I just installed the Motobilt Crusher bumper and really like the simplicity, and how it sits. I will have to find a way to relocate the license plate.

That's a really nice rear bumper, who makes it?

Thanks for the hitch slider idea...ordered!

It is awesome and has a very low profile!

You can’t see it, but it’s locked in there with a Bolt lock. They make them specifically for the Jeep and you program it to your key. I have the trailer hitch pin and a padlock 😉

I have been eyeing the Warn Elite rear bumper. It appears to fully wrap around the tub like the OEM one. I like the idea of having the tub corner fully protected, so it doesn’t get caught by a rock.
Anyone running this bumper and willing to share feedback?

I have a friend that had one. It didn’t last and it folded up into the back of their jeep. Common issue with the imports and poorly designed bumpers, like the OEM 🫢

Here are some different views of the bumper. This is one of the few that can take the weight of the jeep, when dropping off a ledge, and come back for more.

The first pic is good and it shows my little tow skid… the others show more of my muffler skid but they should give you a good idea.

How is the flex up toward the body when coming down off of a ledge? This is one of the few I have seen that doesn't require a license plate relocation such as MB, GR, or NV.

Take a look at the CavFab Ultra High Clearance bumper. I am running one on my 392 and really like how much clearance it has. It sure looks and feels like it would be very stout, but truth be told I haven't managed to drag it on anything yet. My rear bumper pictures are limited, but there are better pictures on CavFab's website. From my pictures you can see that it would be pretty tough to find a bumper that is more way up firm and high than this one. Kind of hard to drag this one, even after two trips over the Rubicon and all of the trails in Moab.

A little better picture. The body damage to the rear lower corner of the tub happened when the stock steel rear bumper was on the Jeep, and it flexed up into the body.

I have the next venture motorsports rear aluminum for almost 2 years and I am shocked the abuse it has taken. Has a few gouges out of the underside but easily hold weight of vehicle on ledges and typically slides down the tow points. I went with it for weight savings and it has far exceeded my expectations for durability. Wraps around sides to body line.

No flex at all and the body panels are still perfect… and this is a dedicated trail rig with around 30k miles 🫶
