Power Steering Failure - HELP

I would then assume the OP can afford a new PS set up. 🤓

perhaps you have not seen the extent to which this jeep is modified. :ROFLMAO:
Honestly I actually toon the jeep about a month ago to the main jeep dealership here in Dubai to collect new Catalytic Converters ( yes- I have even replaced these !!) the service desk ask if I had an appointment and the manager started laughing saying your not doing a warranty issue today are we? I laughed and said No, just picking up parts for my non warranty garage to repair. He grinned and said, by the way, that will never pass but by the looks of it, it’s built to last now 🤣

Quick update— we tested the jeep having fixed the main ground showing in the photo. We disconnected all Aux lines to isolate and test. All tests show no faults and no cutting out. Now we will do one by one for all Aux switches and parts. There are many, of this passed then we have solved the mystery — btw, the bad ground line was exactly where most suspected, behind inner fender on passenger side. Given all the tight wiring it was not visible at all and only seen on inspecting all wiring lines .. hope this is it ! Thanks everyone for the impute—- on PSC given the research, most are advising no because I only drive on the big sand dunes and require quick turn response after making a turn, PSC is slow and best for Rock Crawling many say. I am installing a fan set up however

PSC has a system that just replaces the electric steering pump without needing to add the hydraulic ram, it's the ram that makes the systems slow to respond. So, in theory, you should be able to upgrade to the belt driven pump, and keep the steering box as-is to achieve the fast steering you need for the sand, while getting rid of the electric pump.

Others correct me here if I've got that wrong.

PSC has a belt driven pump kit. Just deletes the stock electro/hydro pump and adds a PSC belt driven pump, cooler, and reservoir. Don’t have to add the gear box or cylinder assist unless you want it.
I installed this.

Ended up adding the gearbox too.

Thanks guys! I will look into this as I wish to keep electric PS for my above reasons but the swap out makes a lot of sense.. cooling is still an issue

Question:
Do other 392s voltage drop when steering wheel is turned at idle?

Mine does and I'm curious if this is is "normal". I know my battery is 2 years old and is getting weak. Scheduled to be changed this week.

I'll check the grounds as well.

Here is a PSC video that dropped to YouTube today. However this kit includes their new XD Electric Pump, new hd steering gear box and hydro ram assist.

I did ask if they were dropping a video of new XD electric pump and cooler only, showing real world results. Haven’t hear back yet?
