Order Timeline

That is quick! XR or regular 392?
No I was caught between the price increase and the fear that having too many options would increase time to build based on what I read here. I went with what I basically needed knowing I could add a lot of stuff later.
And I guess that worked well seeing how quick it’s gone

Still at the “We are gathering all the parts blah, blah, blah.” No emails from Jeep today 😫

I‘m still hopeful that my change order for color hasn’t pushed me too far. Jeep wants the HVY on the streets in time for Beach Week in April

At the end of the day I was just elated last month to hit D1 after living in D to BE to C to D bounce back hell for a year

Just found out the build sheet of mine is available today, Jeep Chat told that it's done and waiting for shipping.

My 392 XR in Granite Crystal Metallic has been sitting in Toledo for the better part of two months. I am getting frustrated that there still is no ETA for the dealership. I talked with them this morning and it just sitting. I just hope some railyard kid isn't out cruising in it like its a rental. I mean... that's what I would do so I can't blame him or her... but it still sucks! :ROFLMAO:

Just got an update from Granger that my 392XR just went into D1 with an estimated ship date of 03/21/22, and that arrival at the dealership is 3-4 weeks after that. I’m hoping @Spartan that your experience is an anomaly, which is remedied quickly for you. I don’t want to wait another 3 months for this thing.

Order date: 10/21/2021

Options: XR, dual door, sky one-touch, trail camera, gorilla glass, trail rail cargo system, tow package.

Mine has been stuck in the "Vehicle build is complete pending final inspection" stage for a week now. Not sure how much longer it takes from there.
Mine was there for very close to 2 months.

Heres what my salesman sent me.

Man, I hope this is not a common theme....I too am waiting for delivery - was given estimated date of week of 3/14-3/24 with build completed 2 weeks ago.....I live in Missouri as well but being delivered to Waterloo, Iowa Dan Deery motors.

I still don’t have an ETA which is weird. Never got one and Jeep just keeps saying it is up to the transport company. Frankly, it’s frustrating to know that it is just sitting with no potential to be delivered. I’d hate to cancel the order solely because I can’t afford the payment after interest rates sky rocket. I was planning on driving it for my honeymoon in September but now I’m beginning to wonder if I’ll have it by then.

Apparently mine is built (has been for a week or two) sitting in Toledo waiting to ship.

Just got my buildsheet!! Only took a brief 5 months! Need to buy a scarf and earmuffs for the devil, but those items are scarce here in Naples. Jeep Wave said it should arrive at the dealer the week of 4/1. Yeah, April Fools! I guess somebody had to get that week.

I am stoked to see so many 392's moving for folks. But cruising by 4 months in D and the luster / excitement is fading just a bit. I had originally planned on getting the 392 and a Bronco Badlands Sas that I started trying to get nearly two years ago. Then I was going to see which one I felt most connected to, had the most fun with. I was pretty sure it'd be all 392 (I have along history of V8's making me smile). Yes, this is a first world problem, but hey, you only live once, right? Then I got picked for a BRaptor and will be placing that order at MSRP this coming week. At this rate the BRaptor might actually beat the 392 to our garage. Just watching all the similarly not super equipped XRs get pulled and built while I sit in D further blows my mind at @YukonCornelius ' monk-like patience. I guess I'm not as patient as I thought I was ... :)

How long for delivery when in D status
thx
It seems to depend heavily on whether you are an XR build or not (non XR move fast) and then some other mystery reasons that move some builds very fast and others no so much. So we've seen a few weeks to many, many months with some folks waiting north of 6. It seems to be about 5 or 6 months for delivery right now when you're not particularly lucky.

Still sitting in D1 @shojeep … no foreseeable change based on recent Jeep chats and dealer conversations.

@Chacalou I was in D from mid October when VIN was assigned until mid January. Been in D1 since.

Most of the D status wait was due to order being placed on first day of MY22’s opening knowing there were a couple months before production even began..
