One year anniversary

Can you turn off that girl telling you to slow down, or is she in the passenger seat?

I turned the auto brake off after it almost broke my wrist in a parking lot. I also turned off the auto high beam because I’m too much of a control freak. Those are in the menus on the head unit.
Thanks. I'll have to look into turning off the auto high beam.

You can import your cd music into iTunes on a computer. No need buy again. 🤓
Yeah, I had all my cds on my old iPhone but that had an untimely death and shortly after that the laptop I had all the music saved on fell victim to a virus so I wiped the hard drive clean a 5lb sledgehammer and haven’t bought a laptop since.

My Jeep slams on brakes if my driver door isn't completely closed. I have to open it, close it, put it in park, and then back into drive. Can I turn that off?
Does it use the brakes or put the transmission in park? Going into park of course has to be done at slow speed of course.

Was your seatbelt on when it happened? It has happened to me where it would put the transmission back in park and I think that at the time I had the door not completely closed AND no seatbelt on. I was just moving the jeep in the driveway. I think if you have one or the other it will let you drive.

Hmm not sure, it's always right when I'm leaving a parking spot, so maybe my seatbelt wasn't on yet? It gives me a warning screen on the dash and tells me to put it back in park and then back to drive. Makes sense if it's a safety thing. But yea it slams on the brakes, so maybe it just just going into park.

Annoys me to no end. I jump in the jeep to back it out to wash it without closing the door and slams the vehicle back into park. Not sure if it is brakes or parking gear but it is a hard stop.

Heh, I thought the same with the CDs. I haven't touched a CD in probably 15 years.

It's all good though! However you get your jam on is cool with me.

And totally agree with the wipers and seats. I'm thinking of getting Katzkins to improve the seat issue.

Getting Sting Gray so I'm diggin' these.

If your door is open and you try and go in reverse the Jeep auto brakes…the cluster will tell you what you just did and also to go back to park then back to gear, it will let you back up at that point with the door open. Seat belt needs to be buckled although it has let me reverse with door open with no seatbelt once. That’s all disengaged with doors off obviously.

If you have the seatbelt fastened OR the door closed the Jeep will move. I did not know what @BenLandry said above that if you dont have either of those and put it park then back to drive the Jeep will move. Just tested it.
