Hi everyone,
my name is Michael, and as my nickname suggests, I’m German.
Born in Koblenz in 1974, I now live with my wife and son in northern Germany, right on the northern edge of Hamburg.
I bought my first Wrangler in 2017—a JKU Rubicon with the 2.8L diesel engine. In 2019, there was a bit of an incident in Iceland where my JKU got stuck in the water, and we had to be airlifted out by helicopter. Sadly, my JKU didn't survive the ordeal...
It was followed by a JLU Rubicon (2.2L diesel), which I sold this year to fulfill a dream: a 2026 MOAB!
I’ve gained off-roading experience in Europe, Iceland, the USA (Rubicon Trail/Moab in 2025), and Mongolia (this year).
However, for the trips outside Europe, I used rental vehicles!
When I’m not working or behind the wheel of my Jeep, you’ll find me at the shooting range. That’s where I spend my time shooting IPSC or long-range rifle. Unfortunately, our ranges are usually only 300 meters (328 yards) long. My dream is to compete in the "King of 2 Miles" one day!
