My 392s First Major Road Trip

And almost forgot, made it to Torrey, UT; no plan, just where I ended up.

And in bad news, the NoLimitz, has its limitz, at least on mine on speed.
If you are still in Torrey, I recommend the food truck for burgers. In the parking lot of the General Store.

Which direction you heading? Do not miss Monument Valley, southeast of you.

Is that close to accurate???
I’m not sure, calculating MPG is not something I ever planned on doing in my 392, but I have taken a few tanks to about 300 miles on this trip. I prefer to stomp on it and get less.

Missed that burger truck for now, but there is always the return trip.

Day 5 - Torrey Utah to Winnemucca

What a day yesterday, spent a majority time wise off road. 567 miles with about 250 or so not on a hard ball.

Met some new friends.

With the rain I’d been seeing and hitting I thought the trails in Utah would be worse but no issues at all.

I didn’t get the pics because the photo ops spots were places I needed to keep moving. For about a mile on one trail the trail literally had a creek running down it. There was some uncertainty in my decision to go that route but it was too late, I was committed.

And I really discovered how nice that torque in our 392s is when off-roading, you never have to gas it, 1200 rpm keeps you going and going.

Target today is the The Dalles via the John Day area.

So made it to destination number 1, the in-laws in Newberg Oregon yesterday.

3714 miles and what a drive, 392 is a beast and fun on any surface. Wife flew in to PDX so we’ll head to my daughters in Washington Tuesday.
