Mopar half door opinions

I swap over to MOPAR Half Door for the summer. (I recently became a teacher and summers off was a big plus). It's kinda like a change of the seasons, summer time I take the Sky One Touch Top & Full Doors off and swap over to rag top & half doors. I install the Tuffy JL locking deck enclosure and I keep the premium uppers in there along with the soft top windows just incase the weather gets rough. To store the regular full size doors I use the USA made Go Without Doors Cart which is super helpful. I really look forward to summer time, I put out my hammock, sharpen the lawnmower blades, and swap the Jeep top, add in some lemonade and I'm good to go.
My dog loves it too!☀️🐶😎👍

Does it get old switching between no top no windows and top on with windows?

Absolutely love my old half doors. Here in FL, I run halfs with soft top in winter, then switch to full and HT for summer. Iykyk.
Never understood tube doors myself. Either run doors, or take everything off and enjoy the breeze. Tube doors wont “protect” any more than no doors.

Hmmmm.... 🤔
it’s part of the fun, I guess I like the whole process. During the summer it works, during the dead of winter it wouldn’t. It’s like driving a totally different vehicle, and it’s uniquely Jeep. No it doesn’t get old. ;)(y)

Exact opposite of what I would do in ny😂. I agree about tube doors. Only reason I had them for my jk was so I could get an inspection every year. My full doors may or may not have had window tint🤫

I get that. I do get excited to put the hard top on in the fall and soft top in the spring. Changes the jeep.

Great fender chop, which brand? And what is that little cap/ bolt on the outside of the front fender?

I had bought the infinite offroad fender chop light/bracket and lost a front passenger fender on a bridge due to a failed adhesive retention side bracket o_O Just paid $771 for a new painted fender from ReveMoto that I'm just going to chop again and come up with a better method for better retention where the fender contacts with the light bracket. Ugh.... any tips?
Thanks!

It's quake LED. The bolt just goes through the fender into the bracket and it's just part of the kit. I've been impressed so far. I hit a tree with my Fender the first time out after doing the fender chop and it bent the bracket down and knocked Fender off. I just threw it in the backseat got home and bent the bracket back up and just went on my way. There's a little Gap between the fender and the bracket now that I can probably fix with a little more effort but I just never have worried about it

Half doors/Soft Top/Tuffy Enclosure waiting for summer in the basement ☃️
I had that door cart but it really didn't work for my use so I sold it. For me it worked better just to hang my doors on the wall in the garage

Is there a huge difference between rolling the windows down and the half doors?
I just have two doors so I don't know but I bet it would make it better for off-roading and easier to see plus it looks really cool

Love your Golden!

I was lucky enough to find OEM half doors in my color locally last summer and had them in thru September even in the Northeast. Pricey for sure, but well worth it.

I pulled the trigger on a set in my color earlier this week. Only issue is they have a matte ppf on them. I don’t know if I should pull it off to match or just get the whole car wrapped😂. I’m hoping we have a summer like last year in the northeast

To clarify, you were able to place an order for half doors through MOPAR in 2025?

Last I had heard, they were no longer producing half doors, even if you ordered a Jeep.👎

No, I found them on Facebook marketplace. Only used once

What are the chances of the half doors making a comeback on Jeep? Is the Bronco still selling half doors??

Ford never came through on half doors for the Bronco afaik. If they did, I'd have them for my FE.

I haven't had my half doors on my 392 yet, but my YJ has half doors on. I'd argue that it's just as much of an experience (if not moreso) as having the top off - at least for the driver.
