Monster Pedal

I like the Pedal Monster. I like my throttle real sensitive. It removes the dead feel of having to push throttle down a lot to get to the meat of the powerband. I like the adjustability. I usually bounce around between Sport and Track.
Just put one on my 2024 AT4X HD with Duramax and it was night and day. Ordering one for the Jeep now. Mid street level for day to day. Sport mode all the way up and the 35s light up like nothing 😂.

I have 3…..the Pedal Monster, Pedal Commander, and I can adjust my throttle response in the DiabloSport Trinity programmer. Of the 3, I use the Pedal Commander, but only because with the Commander, I don’t need my phone to make adjustments. Plus, the Commander is a cleaner install with less wiring. Also, my dad drives it and he never carries his phone, so the Pedal Monster could get him into trouble if set too sensitive. Now, if I had the Banks iDash to go with the Monster, I could control it without a phone and would use it instead of the Commander.
What’s your take on the Pedal Commander overall?

I really like my pedal monster in sport with adjustments. Makes a huge difference

I also use the Pedal Monster on my 392 and will second the comments on performance increase. You literally go from a hesitant acceleration stock to as snappy as you’d like. I originally used the Pedal Commander but didn’t enjoy backing up my also inclined driveway to my garage, the reverse stock mode for PM is well worth it to me. The PM app also shows the status of “butterfly open” as compared to stock mode, nice graphs for finding that sweet spot to your taste. BTW virtually all drive-by-wire throttles have lag incorporated to assist in achieving the highest possible government mileage number, slow acceleration = better mileage, the antithesis of why I have a 392.

Not sure how to post video but here’s a go:

What’s your take on the Pedal Commander overall?
Overall, I love it. Since it doesn’t use the OBDII port, the wire harness is much smaller and easier to hide. You can use your phone for adjustments if you want, but I prefer not to. There are plenty of settings and they’re easy to adjust. I’ve read somewhere where 1 or 2 people have had problems with theirs causing issues with the pedal input signals since the Pedal Commander gets its power from the pedal and not the OBDII port. I haven’t had any issues with mine at all. Is it my first choice over the others, yes.
