Fins and Things did wonders for my range. I don’t mind the big gas bill but I have to be able to get somewhere …

No other 392s on Fins and Things today. It’s a good trail, I recommend it.

It looks like he has 75% of a tank left and the 392 is just calculating 80 miles because of wheeling at low speed all day. I'd say there's about 180 miles in that tank.
True. Still wish the gas tank was bigger. I'll be seeing that low fuel range while off roading this summer and I gotta say, I'll be concerned.

I hope anyone who is attending has a great time and safe!
I’ve been a few times. Too many people for me. I prefer Moab when it’s a bit less crowded.
Heading there this friday, should have good weather and a few less people.

Yeah 80 Monday & Tuesday. I’m hoping to get there next Friday.

Looks like perfect weather this weekend.
It was cold today. It was 32 when we finished our trail at 1530 (3:30 pm) or Sarge had her thermometer stuck. I know I was cold. I’m still warming up.

It’s been great meeting all the other Jeep owners here, especially 392 owners. I found lots of inspiration in your modifications, additions and upgrades.

We are hitting the vendor show early Thursday (tomorrow) and then headed home via Zion National Park.

Have a day,

Kevin

Well, the trail runs are all done. We left Thursday after spending much more time and money than we expected to at the vendor expo. We had to take everything out of the back of the Jeep, repack it and put it all back in. Spare tire trail trash haulers are a great place to carry your dirty laundry. The Trasharoo brand is good for about 1500 miles of 80mph driving.

We managed to visit Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, Zion and Great Basin National Parks on the way home. We summited some pass at 9580’ with high snow banks on each side. We rolled over 10,000 miles on America’s Loneliest Highway.

1 epic trip
2 Jeeps
3 Knutsens
4 Moab trails
5 States
6 National parks
7 snowy mountain passes
8 great Utah beers sampled
9 days
2600 miles
9580 feet

Have you had any problems flat towing? What setup are you using for base plate, electric hookup and brakes?

No towing issues whatsoever I’m using roadmaster they have the mounts for the jeep, the light kit, everything you need, including brake system that mounts under the seat it all works fantastic. I’ve towed it over 8000 miles since March.
