Help with Nolimitz update please!

Looks like I also bought a brick for 275 USD with delivery to Moscow. Same problems, ZAuto program does not see the module, no blinking, etc. Maybe it is a good warning not to attach is to the car.

Even a firmware challanged Nolimitz will blink its led when plugged into a computer, if yours does nothing it sounds like its totally bricked or Kentucky fried and will need to visit ZAutomotive. I would send them an email saying you tried to do an update to it and now it does nothing and see what they say.

Some times the less said the better when dealing with defective products.

Hoping some of the no limits gurus can help me as well. I have one of the very first no limit modules that had no set Able functions. It had on board functions for MDS, etc. I wanted to try a few of the other modes like sport mode so I updated my module today on a Mac computer. It seemed to update properly as it said verification success and rebooting no limits. The software version was 24.1.8 which I believe is the correct version.

When I reinstalled the module in the car and got into the audio mode after accessing it without starting the car and hit cruise cancel for five seconds no limits popped up… Hooray. I scrolled through a few settings and got to the torque setting and tried to set it to off, but accidentally hit the plus or minus button and tried to exit this just by waiting eight seconds. The system exited no limits as it should have but when I try to access it by holding cruise, cancel down again for eight seconds, the dash displayed up "updating". I let it sit for about five minutes and held the cruise canceled down and again it said updating.

I have reloaded the software twice on the unit again successfully, but each time I plug the unit back into the vehicle it does not allow me to access the no limits menu and continues to say updating.

Any thoughts on what next step should be?

I should say this is really “raw” product. Some are working and some do not. They sold me non-working version ))) another thing is that they did not try to help and my emails were ignored.

I installed the unit as shipped. I tried to update but it said already loaded the newest software.

It worked as shipped. I have not tried the security features.

Some have reported a dead module, I’d reach out to z auto and get a replacement or at least how it can be fixed.

I was part of the Beta program when they first released the ability to set your own parameters. I ended up sending it back secondary to a few issues.

I ordered another one a few days ago and just received it. It updated right away via Windows and worked perfectly after installation.
