Thank you for stating it in your reply to me here. I'm opting to explain myself further for the benefit of myself:

With all respect to you, I reviewed our PM and did not see any talk about how it connects. I did ask you in the PM how IGLA, dronemobile, and Compustar intersect and you wrote that you'd inquire of someone, then in your subsequent PM post you talked about how these three products complement each other, but nothing specific about how IGLA wires to the OEM wiring was said.

Next, what you indicate was a prior answer to my question,

does not indicate which party performed this damage and, as damage, I would never conclude stripping and soldering were part of the IGLA installation process. You may know what you meant there, but I can't know! Therefore, rather than assume anything by either party, I wrote my question directly to you, asking how YOU did it. So, I never saw those earlier words as an answer I could run with. Keep in mind, I was told by my local IGLA installer that it was done via connectors therefore I am not going to abandon her statement and replace it with some stripping and soldering that you called damage.

And now I know how to read between the lines when iglausa.com wrote there are no circuit cuts during installation and fitting because when you say "T'd" I interpret that to mean they don't actually cut OEM wire but they break its sheathing and solder to it. Stripping and soldering, but it's "procedure" and not "damage". Now I have it confirmed. FWIW, in my world, I call that splicing wires. So, in answer to my own question, yes, IGLA does splice wires. Therefore, it's not done via (molex) connectors like the lady on the phone led me to believe when she said NO to my question.

It's not easy reconciling the different ways that different people think, especially in a discussion fraught with tension. I run the risk of being misinterpreted until then. Along with my tenacity I hope folks see my good will.

Understandable, sorry, as for the lady on the phone you spoke to she is not the installer, she is the front desk sales lady and probably doesn’t know that portion herself. I spoke to both of them yesterday on the phone and text and they said she said she spoke to you and would call you to have you come in and speak in person. They/you are 2,000 miles away, I don’t know what was or wasn’t said. I assure you that it is “spliced” in and soldered when installed, connectors like you speak of won’t hide well inside a vehicle harness and will put stress on other wires.
