Earl, Anvil, White, or Black

Back in 2020 the Ram TRX was announced. It was my dream truck. I immediately placed an order the day order backs opened for a graphite one. Long story short, that order fell through. I ended up picking up an order for the Launch edition TRX which only came in Anvil. I looked all over the internet at pictures of Anvil and was really worried about it. It either looked cool or weird in pictures. Day I picked up the TRX I was blown away how amazing anvil looked in person. Such a dynamic color. It has become my all time favorite color for a vehicle, which is surprising as I typically only like muted car colors.

Three years later, the 2024 392 was announced with Anvil as a color. My waiting game on a 392 paid off. Ordered an Anvil without hesitation. Looks badass on a Jeep. And bonus that the red interior goes really well against Anvil.

So, I say go see an Anvil live in person. It’s an amazing and truly dynamic color based on lighting conditions. Anvil does not photograph well, but looks awesome in person.

Hey there! Thank you for your pictures and honest feedback! I agree with all you have said. In pictures it looks just ok. At times, it looks fire, at other times, I don't like it at all.

I did go look at a 2024 in Anvil on a lot, but it was a sport and had the black hardtop and I didn't like it at all! I know the 392 is a different beast on color and all that, but I left less than impressed. Which makes this so hard.

I would probably go with White or Red or Hydro at this point. But still don't know.

I probably should just keep my 2023 and put the new grille on it and try to upgrade the stereo and try to put more sound deadening. I just hate trying to "fix" something to match something else. I would rather start with the 2024 and keep it forever.

Earl and Anvil are my favorite and I really wanted an Earl. But I came across a 23 white with 700 miles on it that I couldnt pass up. I now I have 4 white vehicles. 😬
