Bolt lock for hoods on a Wrangler 392

Hello, has anyone considered Bolt brand front hood lock on a Wrangler 392? Remember this is the kit that comes with the Bolt brand lock that uses your factory key to set the tumblers. The kit comes with a regular Rubicon modified grill for the key hole opening. It also has a template for a Jeep Gladiator style grill to be cut and modified to accept the opening. Would this template for cutting the Gladiator grill work for a Wrangler 392? Does a 392 basically have the same grill as a Gladiator?

I hope all you 392 power freaks read the owners manual. Our hoods are protected by the vehicle's security system. Try opening the hood with vehicle locked and see what happens. Don't think I need more than this.

I totally agree. If a smart thief wants your vehicle he/she is going to get it. My attempt to secure what I can secure (hood locks, gas cap lock, wheel locks) is designed to discourage the “opportunistic criminal”, the “juvenile delinquent” and all the "392 haters" on that “other” Jeep Forum.

I haven’t set my mind yet. Just wish there’s an all metal design with the factory look and nice quality locks.

I went through the regular wrangler owner’s manual as well as the 392 guide book, didn’t find that information. Can you please tell which page you read that?
