Blue 392 for MSRP in SC.

It seems there are decades in which car manufacturers go into this "let's see who builds the best vehicle" mentality. It happened in the 60's, not so much in the 70's, and the 80's sucked big time. Then the 90's had a boost with really beautiful vehicles, not so much in the early 2000's, then in 2010's it picked up again and I think we are about to peak with these amazing V8 machines before car manufacturers go into a decade of producing less stellar vehicles...especially with electric vehicles now a reality.

Now that's extremely interesting as my fascination has been more recent with car brands competing, I just didn't realize the trend pattern you point to, but I love it! Ford being competition is great for jeep because it used to just be jeep all by itself!

I'm just late to the game and super jealous of anyone who owns one currently and slightly nervous I may never get one now lol and I'm paying like 10k over sticker with the bath I'm taking by trading in two cars lol...I'm just feeling impatient/trying to fully commit to it but jeep won't meet me halfway like usual lol

I understand completely. I am probably older than you at 73, and learned along time ago not to chase 2 things....cars and women. As in most things, if for some odd reason a 392 Wrangler doesn't end up in your garage, there will something better, faster, more desirable, that will be available. I do understand your impatience, but fretting about such insignificant things as a car is not a good use of worry beads.

Sorry I had a rough year, I had my first child in the middle of a pandemic and she was born with heart disease, tore my quad, and another doctor yelling at me to not drink more than a beer once a month basically lol...this car is another uncontrollable in life that I guess I am trying to control as much as I can lol I appreciate your advice, I'm the classic overthinker reading into things too much at times and then life just keeps speeding past me lol

And another bit of unrequested wisdom...the wanting is always better than the having.... I find myself while driving the 392, that my 2015 manual Hardrock 2 door was actually more fun for me. It would not surprise me if this 392 was only a temporary member of my stable. With only 200 miles on the Jeep, it has to grow on me or it will be down the road. Time will tell....

Sorry about your rough year man. I hope your baby recovers fully. Kids are resilient. We come out stronger and wiser after our life storms.

My 2003 Rubicon has a manual transmission. I don't ever want to sell it. I will have two of my favorite engines of all time: the 4.0 inline six, and the 6.4 Hemi 392

Back in the day I had a 2 door purple CJ with a stick and modified 304. It had headers and purple horny mufflers. Great fun, took it from MN to CO in one straight shot. Kidneys were hammered to hell but a memorable trip!! That's when a Jeep was a Jeep, not another SUV!
