Awesome 392 experience…

Also have not had any issues with my Tazer to this point; although I've only really used it for tire size changes. It will be interesting to see how it manages the build my rig will be going through shortly with axles/gearing, etc. The reboot and 2 cycles is kind of a PITA, but nonetheless its worked well thus far.

@Vonhef did you contact ZAuto about your issues?

I’ve had zero issues with my Tazer so far. I also would highly recommend it. Planning on installing one on my gf’s JLRUX.

I just moved up from a JK to a new 392…. And what a difference! The JK was purchased new in 2015 and I was perfectly satisfied with it until we towed a teardrop camper into the Colorado mountains last September. This began my research for more HP… and ultimately the 392.

Now every time hear it start, it puts a smile on my face!

I went from a 2015 two door JK Sport to a 2022 392....what a world of a difference.

Still miss that short wheelbase turnkey JK, so simple and fun to putz around to the beach, errands, etc.

A couple of things, "NAV in Motion" and turn signal camera's DO NOT WORK correctly on the 24 and newer with the Tazer, they never figured out how to make it work with the new CONNECT and I honestly think they gave up on it.

Don't even waste your time trying it and even though ZAutomotive says its does in the ad, it doesn't.

Next forced 2wd option in the Tazer MUST BE TURNED OFF before trying to shift into any true 4wd mode as the vehicle will not shift into 4wd correctly and the front clutch pack will not be engaged like it should.

The Tazer is not a perfect product and if you expect it to be you need to send it back and ask for a refund. ZAutomotive does not have the resources to create a OEM product and it is what it is. If your expecting perfection and everything to work as described your in for a disappointment

My suggestions, carefully document the issues and contact ZAutomotive and post back here what they say! In all honesty I loved the JSCAN product I used on my JK, it worked perfectly never had an issue but is lame in comparison in to the Tazer in its ability to change hardcore features. Again, we might wish we could bet OEM dependability and quality in aftermarket parts but in today's market this is not the case.

For the comment about disabling force 2wd before entering 4wd should be common sense as the Tazer is designed to override vehicle settings. Otherwise the device wouldn’t be able to do anything. The bonus for this is you should be able to put it in 2wd low. I haven’t tried this yet but I like the idea. Has anyone tried this?
