I went to run an errand today but when I jumped in the Jeep I noticed the starter was dragging. My fault I had not driven it for nearly 3 weeks as I been driving the H2 lately.
Anyway, long story short used my other vehicle and left the AGM charger on the Jeep. When I came back and verified it was charged back to 100% I jumped in to go fill it up. Interesting enough I noticed my 4W Hi indication was on all the time. Normally I run with Forced 2WD and I will only get a momentary blip on the 4W Hi mode, in this case it was on solid.
So I accessed the tazer menu and found forced 2wd was no longer set including some other activated features that were no longer enabled.
Well, no harm no foul, I figured the lower voltage of the run down battery may have caused it, here is the concern the battery wasn't dead just a little run down. But, if your using the Tazer for things that are really important such as gear ratio changes, tires size mods and so on you can see where this could be a major issue if it looses its settings.
Just a heads up for those using the Tazer for critical things. I think I'm going to set up a battery tender and plug it in if I know the Jeep might be sitting for a couple of weeks.
