Aftermarker LED tailight with (integrated traffic warning capabilities) to replace the factory one

Here's my full discussion on the various JL LED taillight options, from 1st hand experience. I'm currently still runnning the Morimoto tails, with BSM fully functioning.

Thanks, I was going to find your post and like it here😉

I have the Oracle and the BSM isn’t great… but I’m always passing people so it hasn’t been an issue.

However, my passenger rear break light lost the level 2 brightness. This means the break light and turn signal won’t work if my headlights are turned on. Oracle has a 1-year warranty, which is over, so I have to buy a new one or crack it open and attempt a repair. For $200+ for a replacement… guess what I’ll be doing 😉

I did check the continuity for all the harnesses and everything was fine but there are a few wires that I cannot check because they are buried under the molded plastic. I think I’ll need to cut an access hole and see if there is a loose connection.

This could be a freak deal… but it’s worth mentioning.

Great post, those who might be on the fence will find this very useful.

Personally I would give Oracle a call and see if they will stand behind their product. I understand the warranty is gone but lets face it they should last more then a year. It might not be bad to mention this post to them. Them crapping out after only a year with no recourse other then surgery by you is a reason for someone looking to purchase them to maybe think again!

I did and I even sent them videos ++ plugged it into the other side to demonstrate the issue wasn’t with the wiring to the light.

No love from the manufacturer 🥺

Wow, that's cold, bottom line: Zero Customer Support! I will never buy an Oracle Product!
