Thanks! I liked them as well. I am definitely selling them. Were only about 3.5 hours apartI kind of like the Mopar rails but your new ones are great also. IF you were closer I would make an offer on the Mopar if you are selling.

Offer him $200, he'll drop to $225...new take offs...you may be close enough to pick them up and save shipping...What I see on eBay for that price is the stock rock rails for the Rubicon. No step whatsoever. Different animal.
Probably. Almost. Apparently some of the body mounts are somewhat different so to be absolutely sure get one that says it's compatible with 392. If the manufacturer does not list 392 compatibility call and ask. If they have not tried the 392 yet they might give you a break to ensure fitment. I did this with mine. They had not tried the 392 and said they would take them back no charge if they did not fit.Would any foot step for 4 door wrangler work on 392?

Hi all--I have some specific slider/step questions. I have a '15 JKUR with LoD signature rails. I have a 392 on order--it was delayed by the strike, but I suspect will go into production in the next month or so. The 392 will be more of an overland/adventure rig as I will keep the JKU for more extreme/scratchy stuff. Thus, I think I need step functionality more than rock protection, BUT since I am on my third lift on my JKU and who knows what the future holds I'd like something that provides at least some rock protection just in case my use plans change.
1) Anyone here have/looked at the Westin Sniper rocks slider steps? They seems beefy, and although they look a bit funky to me they seem functional as well. https://www.westinautomotive.com/jeep-wrangler-triple-tube-rock-rails
2) I'm assuming, in terms of robustness, that multiple frame mounting points > frame mounting just to the body isolator bolts > pinch weld mounts? Has anyone nailed rocks with a pinch weld mounted slider/step and how did it hold up?
3) I am taking a close look at all of the steps suggested here, but I think I'd like to avoid those that require loosening/removal of the main body mount bolts, and for anything in the 1K price range and heavy I'd probably just get LoDs again--they have treated me well. But I'd be happy to listen to other arguments.
Thanks in advance.
Yes sir I truly think they would be more than ample protection for all but extreme and repeated rock crawling....they are ~18 lbs heavier than the Rubicon Stock Rock Rails at 52 lbs....I almost pulled the trigger on them, but went back with stock Sahara Plastic Side Boards 34 lbsLTZ470 and axhoaxho thanks. I actually really like the way the Mopar rails look--one of my reservations is that is a lot of coin for a body mount (instead of frame mount) rail. Have said that the assumption of many is that rails attached to the body mounting points are less secure than those attached to the frame. I get that the steel is thinner, but there is also much less of a lever arm vs a frame mount. And the question is how strong does the attachment really need to be?
I installed the LOD Destroyers & love them. Also wide enough to keep most of the rocks & debris off the sides.Hi all--I have some specific slider/step questions. I decided to go with the Go Rhino RB20's for my 392 with the Protective Bedliner Coating. Installed them last weekend and so far, I really like them. Here is where I got them https://www.extremeterrain.com/go-rhino-jeep-wrangler-69400073t-rb20-69450673t.html

Yes. The factory Rock Rails have to be removed as you will need to use the mounting holes for the RB20's.Did you have to remove the factory Rock Rails? I have a 24 392 on order. I love the RB20s with the bedliner coating on my TRX.
I need the Step (My wife is vertically challenged, and the 392 will be her primary vehicle). I would hate to remove the rock rails. Also, my youngest still needs the step too.
That is a bummer. She won't be rock-crawling...but the RB20s are wide enough for the kids to climb in and offer enough A-hole protection in parking lots from people who slam open their doors.Yes. The factory Rock Rails have to be removed as you will need to use the mounting holes for the RB20's.
You could buy these from a fellow Texan:That is a bummer. She won't be rock-crawling...but the RB20s are wide enough for the kids to climb in and offer enough A-hole protection in parking lots from people who slam open their doors.
Been hunting for some steps. These are killer. How are you liking them now?I went with the Mopar Performance Rock Rails. They look OEM, are very rugged, and fit the factory mounting points. I like them so far.
