392 Engine Stalls Downhill.

This happened to me out by Morris Lake in NorCal. Steep downhill and the motor decides to turns itself off although I know I have just over a 1/2 tank of fuel.
Go to start it and it sounds like its starved for fuel. In a slight panic I start checking everything and then notice the fuel level is showing empty? Now I am thinking the float or sending unit is stuck so I grabbed a roto-pak and dumped fuel in. Turn it back on and it now shows 3/4 full and starts right up. The pitch was steep but not that steep.

To me that is not expectable in my book as that is not that steep thanks for sharing
