2024 Wrangler FE AEV JL370 Build

What an incredible build. I too am looking at going the route of a charger, specifically the EcoFlow Alternator charger. Thanks for sharing and safe travels.

Thanks! More to come for sure. I have a bunch of videos to edit about installing some stuff. The DC DC charger is a game changer I think. Power stations are so cheap now - it seems to make less sene to build out a full dual battery system that gets stuck in the Jeep forever. Also.. jeep is at American Adventure Labs right now.. for a bunch of stuff being installed. I’ve been enjoying Utah for a few days!

More great shots:

Made it home. I picked the Jeep up last Wednesday from AEV. Drove from Wixom to NorCal over 3100 miles. Met some amazing people ar AEV and American Adventure Labs. Both are legit good people who make great products. Brought the Jeep back to Jackson Ellis at Glendale Jeep to see the how Jeep he sold me completely metamorphosed. Also a great dealership. Changed oil.

Saw some amazing places. The Jeep was amazing. Is it like my 911? No it doesn’t need to be. It’s completely different but more capable and more useable. Which makes it one of my favorite vehicles I’ve ever driven.

More posts for sure to come. Understandably I’ve been driving a lot. But now I’m back. Will post more.

The size difference between the Jeep and my 911 S/T is pretty dramatic!

Luckily my garage door is 8’ tall. Plenty of space and room for a small RTT. If I go that route.

Beautiful Jeep.

Funny thing about huge Jeeps is they start looking small after a couple of months. Mine seems small now, and it's on 40s.

I have mixed feelings on the side window panels. Looks like something that I would either knock off or scratch up badly.

On your way to 44 's

Honestly, I did too. I initially did not get the Venture Package (comes with those panels that replace the rear windows). Based on pics, I was skeptical. I have screenshots with the CEO Dave about this lol. After awhile he convinced me, based on my use case.

In person, they look WAY better and much more sturdy. Also, the fact that AEV lists the load capacity on a plaque inside - shows how much testing they put in before releasing it. Having been in their R&D department - I can believe it.

I asked Dave about damage, but he said since they are completely molded into the hardtop as part of the hardtop, no real way they would get knocked off. If something hit that hard - it would have damaged the hardtop or the window that was already there.

Very cool video, great looking Jeep
Great looking build. Love the color too. Fan of AEV, except for the weird looking window molle swoll. Kind of surprised to see that come from AEV as everything else they've done had been so well integrated and this seems to be a bit much for the benefit of a molle panel.
I also have a 370 build, with the rhino backbone along with an RTT. Plenty of support for the set up, molle bags for storage and no lady bumps protruding in the rear.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

To be fair, I didn't want them at first. I also didn't see the huge utility. That said, the package includes a few things I would have gotten anyways so gave it a shot. It looks far better in person. The Molle stuff - I can see now how much more room it makes - so I can stuff a bunch of molle pouches/bags in there so it doesn't take up space elsehwere I need faster access for.

So I'm not great at keeping this post up to date. Partly because of my day job. Partly because I was on a mission to finish all my installs... which usually takes longer because 1) I research things ad nauseam before I do something 2) I have to wait for tools/supplies to come 3) I run into issues that I have to problem solve 4) I measure like 10x and cut once

So I'll update some stuff.. rather slowly.

First wash after the long road trip. I am a two bucket, Griot's Garage pressure foam washer. Looked great in the twighlight.

IGLA install. 100% peace of mind. You may ask, why not Ravelco - seems odd and shady the way it's done. Sound Innovations has been taking care of all my cars - dash cams, super high end audio upgrades, etc. So I trust them to install my IGLA.

I try to test everything out before I need it. So just practice using the "jiggler" siphon from the AEV fuel tank to the main tank. Worked well. Negative is it's hard to get all the fuel out... and it always smells like gas in the back.

That mirrored photo was tripping me out. I'm thinking "when the hell was the fuel door on the passenger side...and the tail gate...and the license plate?!"

I bought extra jiggles hoses for mine. I figured if I ever needed it in the field, I could just throw it away rather than store it back in the Jeep. I hate the gasoline smell inside the cabin.

Beautiful build! Who makes your rear storage solution? Especially the rear cargo shelf.
I like the wheels a lot. I had the same wheels on my 2024 AEV 392, but they got too chewed up on the trail. So I opted for the Borra wheels on my 2025 replacement AEV. I also added the Rock Slider steps. Nice solution and adds a nice finished profile to the Jeep. I added a couple of pictures of my stolen Jeep at the AEV outing in Oregon. Fun trip.
