Same. I had it on my '22 order, but after I put the order in I read around about it and sorta regretted going with it. I've owned 4 wranglers and while chips happen, I've never had a major issue, so I'm keeping the regular glass on my 2023 order.

Plus, down the line, I don't think someone would say "I'm not buying that used 392 because it doesn't have gorilla glass".

thanks Dral97, (I've had 10 wranglers including my launch edition gladiator) and couldn't agree more. I've had a few issues (as you state nothing major) but nothing to drive me to go with something else. Hope I'm not shooting myself in the foot now....

The thing that got me was someone talking about having to replace the Gorilla Glass because they got bad enough damage and that in the end if they had to replace the windshield anyway, it would be so much easier and cheaper just to be able to do it with regular glass. I think it had something to do with the dealer giving them a hassle about the warranty on it or something.

Yeah, I have to be honest. I strongly suspect that was one reason my builds have taken so long and in retrospect, I think it was probably a waste of money. My regular glass windshield in my 2020 Rubicon lasted 13 months with no chips and my insurance provides pretty good glass coverage, so... Live and learn. I won't include it on my '23 order (if I place one).

My ‘22 was price protected with Granger (thank God!). I think my sticker went up $2-3k from order to delivery

I placed my 2023 order on 17 June and the MSRP was at $79,995. So, it seems to have gone up ~2k since then...
