What did you do to your Jeep 392 today? šŸ› ļø

I limped my Jeep into my garage with a dead battery. When I say dead, I mean DEAD ā˜ ļø Would not take a charge and after boosting it with my Ford and letting both run for 15 minutes it still wouldnā€™t stay running on its own. Hooked up a spare battery with jumper cables to get it into my shop. My touchscreen has changed and I lost my off-road appšŸ¤¬. Got it in a warm shop for the night disconnected the battery hope it will take a charge tomorrow. Not going to hold my breath.

I was working on my JK adding an auxiliary trans cooler and cutting air holes in the bumper to add additional air flow for the new cooler. So that project had to get pushed back to make room for the 392

So today I spent an hour or more on a windy 15 degree day trying to start my Jeep šŸ˜¢ and now my shop is packed full, 3 tractors 2 Jeeps a skid steer and a Yamaha Rhino standing room only, but it is warm.

I think you are supposed to leave the extension plugged into the factory location and attach the factory wire to the plug where you removed the Taser. At least that's what I planned, haven't tried it though.
That is correct. The Tazer bypasses the SGW. The cables are tuff to remove from the original location. You then can plug in the extension cable where the original was removed, not connecting the other end until you need to remove the Tazer. It just adds easy access if you choose to unmarry and remove the Tazer for dealer visits.

Added some more painted billet pieces (fuse box cover, PCV cover and baffle cover)

*Hydroguide removed so I could remove the hood stop bumpers for another project

You nailed it... the extension wires are for ease of reconnecting the factory wires back into the system. when you unmarry/disconnect the Taser.

38ā€ Nitto RG tires came in today. Packed the tires on a buddies trailer and filled my 392 and wifeā€™s car with my 3.5ā€ Clayton lift, Falcon 3.3 adjustable shocks and 2.2 adjustable stabilizer, yeti tie rod and drag link, Adams front and rear driveshafts, and Teraflex HD tire carrier, and drove to my local 4x4 shop to install everything. Last time Iā€™ll see the 392 stock. Canā€™t wait to see the finished product when I pick it up Wednesday!

VERY NICE! Are you re-gearing?

itā€™s an XR so already has 4.56 gears so Iā€™m hoping it should be sufficient. Next on the list are skids and the AWE exhaust that just came out.
Nice list of goodies! Just curious on the spare tire carrier Did you consider the moto built one ? Did you compare the two or did you just want the teraflex.

New wheels!
Couldn't pass up the sale price for these Pro Comp wheels from 4Wheelparts.
My wife's 2 dr. has the same wheel, but in a grey center.

We went to pick my 392 Jeep license plates at the dealership and saw this 2021 Gladiator on their used lot.
Wife fell in love with it so we bought it. Oscar Mike Edition with alot of options, heated seats and steering wheel, LED headlights, 8.4 radio, etc.
Not crazy about the wheels, but it will do.
We had the dealership install Katskin leather to get rid of the funky smell from the old seat covers.
Dealership technician owned it so very well take care of!

I did consider the Moto one but at the end of the day I know Teraflex puts out a great proven product and just wanted to stick with what I know.

Threw on some LOD Destroyers so the kids can climb in easier. Loving the look and and how stout they feel.

Finished up the AWE exhaust, added some heat reflecting tape to the body above the exhaust and a heat wrap to the axle vent and locker wires.

Also added the Curt JK receiver . Donā€™t plan on towing a trailer with the Jeep so itā€™s more for a recovery point/tow strap.

Installed DCS Lighting rock lights and grill lights. Love the no drill application, fitting directly into factory openings on the frame.

got a link to a good place to buy they grill lights? Been looking for something to fill my last open AUX switch. Are they RGB, or only red?

Single color. But you can switch them out with the provided quick connections.
