All weather Floor Mats

Just thought I’d post some pics of the stock Mopar all weather mats in my 392 for those wondering how they look. I really like all weather mats, they cut down on dust in the cabin and protect the base carpet underneath better.

@HearHear - just a suggestion...turn the trunk mat upside down. It'll straighten right out after a day or so. Did that with mine.

BTW - nice looking mats!

the trunk didnt come with the cabin ones, right?
do you have a part number?

Is the rear mat turned the wrong way or is it too small?

It was designed to fit in with the trail rail system. If you want a mat that covers the whole area, you'll have to get it somewhere else like Quadratec. Mopar doesn't make a full coverage mat for the 392, as far as I can tell. I got one of those full cover trunk mats on order with Quadratec.

Correct, the trunk mat was ordered separately. Cargo mat part no. 6BN61TX7AA.

Just FYI- The Mopar part number for the all-weather mats with black Jeep lettering is 6BP4 6TX7 AE - 001. Mopar sells these mats with red Jeep lettering too, but the stock choice for the 392 is black lettering. And I just think black neutral lettering looks better.

Got my Weathertechs delivered last night. Will go in today at some point. Good timing too...getting nasty weather today.

Not sure if I have posted in this thread or not but I am very very happy with my full set of Quadratec ultimate liners. The fit is perfect everywhere.

I also received my WeatherTech floor liners yesterday. I had been holding out on ordering anything, but finally had to pull the trigger as I have still yet to receive the Mopar all-weather floor mats that were ordered with my 392 in August and I took delivery of in late December.

I went with what I think is WeatherTech’s newest mat, the floor FloorLiner HP. The fit is almost perfect and overall, I’m very satisfied. If I do ever get the Mopar versions from my dealer, I guess we will see which one wins out.

For the rear, I did receive the Mopar factory cargo liner with the Jeep, but its coverage is fairly minimal because it allows access to the Trail Rail system. So I went with Quadratec’s ultimate all weather rear cargo mat, but have yet to receive it.

The only “imperfection“ is on the passenger side where there is a small gap (see pics). I think this is likely caused by the fact that the snap connectors are not perfectly aligned between Jeep’s placement and the placement on the WeatherTech mats. This slight malalignment causes a small bulge in the passenger mat as you can see in the pictures. Otherwise there are no gaps. The rear mat is tight with no gaps.

On the note of all-weather mats - I've heard several times here and in other places that these are "very" backordered. I don't want to contribute to the rumor mill because I simply have zero information to add to this.

However, I was wondering if the factory will hold off on building the entire vehicle if these mats are spec'd on the build and out-of-stock, or whether they build/deliver 392s without the mats. I'm sure myself (and others) would strongly consider removing these from our builds if there was a chance that would take some stress out of the build (and get it delivered faster). Any notes on this?

@Marksman did you order them with or without your jeep? Did you receive your 392 without them and order separately? (Or, did you order your jeep with them, but they just delivered your jeep first without them?)

Good question! I'd gladly cancel my floormat option if it is holding up the entire build.

I ordered them with my 392 XR, but thankfully Jeep was smart enough to manufacture and ship the 392 without them.

At my time of pick up, I went item-by-item with my salesman to make certain that all ordered options were there and the floor mats were the only option that we’re not. As a side note, I did order most every available option with the exception of an engine block heater on my 392 XR in August of ‘21.

The parts department of the dealership was willing to order the mats for me and ship them for free once they come in (still waiting). Supposedly there was a chance of availability this week, but I have not yet heard back from my salesman.

Perusing some of the online Mopar sites, I do see that the Mopar all-weather mats with the red Jeep logo are available now. However, I would prefer the black logo given that my Jeep is blue in color. Plus, I’ve obviously already paid for the Mopar mats, just awaiting their arrival.

I’m no expert on any of this, but if it were me, since floor mats are such an easy option to install and obtain from almost anywhere (Mopar online, Jeep dealership, or aftermarket) at a later time, I personally would delete them from my order if I were doing it over again.

I believe if you order the weather mats with the Jeep the carpeted mats are deleted and the cost is about the same so if you order separately you get carpeted and all weather for the same money. Same with the black satin grill.

Excellent point, and all the more reason to order the mats separately.

Mine did come with the carpeted mats from the factory since the all-weather mats were not available at the time of production.

Oh man….. this is more like a new floor kit but I really liked the cargo mat. I went to order it and it $117 to SHIP!!! Just the cargo mat. That’s too bad
Ouch!

Looks like a quality product, but how about some free (or at least cheaper) shipping huh?

The only rear mat I see is for the JK. Surprised they don’t list one for the JL.

Well looks like that $117 shipping saved me some trouble. I thought I was looking at JL. Oooops.

I do have a JK too so I would of kept it haha

Mandatory option for my 2021 JLUR - replaced with the superior WeatherTech HPs. Skipped for my 2022 392 XR - again installed the superior WeatherTech HPs. The 2021 392 WeatherTech HPs are a perfect fit for the 2022 392 (no difference inside).
