Interestingly enough, as of right now, you can't order a Wrangler 392 without the Xtreme Recon package. It's required to create a buildI wonder if they will offer this on the 392? 35 with 4:56 gears and all that power can potentially break axles.

I have seen tests on the new gen 3 Dana 44 axles being able to handle much more.I wonder if they will offer this on the 392? 35 with 4:56 gears and all that power can potentially break axles.
I wonder what the price increase for the Recon add-on will be. I'm planning to replace the factory 33's and wheels with 37's, wider wheels and more lift...My guess is the Recon model is about 8 to 10K more, which is about the cost of retrofitting tires, wheels, lift and re-gearing.....I'm tempted to pull my order for the 2021 model (not D1 yet).....guess I'll wait and see.....July 1st is next week.Xtreme Recon confirmed, as of right now it's just 2021 models
Its been discussed on the Wrangler forum and said to be 4K. I am going to stay with the freeway flyers,3.73. I am curious what the gas mileage would be and if they will have to change the EPA on the sticker.I wonder what the price increase for the Recon add-on will be. Looks like a call into the dealer is instore....I hate to reset the process, but those new goodies with factory warranty are hard to pass up...The only thing I would have to upgrade would be the tires...37 or 40's with that gearing....$3,995
I'm confused by this - I heard the same from the salesman I worked with at dealership I just bought my 392 from (he also said it'll have Dana 60's, but I haven't seen that corroborated anywhere else). However, Jeep's website says the Xtreme Recon package will be offered on the 392 as well.will only be offered in NON 392/4XE model Rubicons
I'll confirm tomorrow but if I can get Dana 60s 392 35s 4.56 from the dealership then I don't want my current 392 - why would i? for $4k more I'd rather get all that stuff i mean we are talking thats 15k in upgradesI'm confused by this - I heard the same from the salesman I worked with at dealership I just bought my 392 from (he also said it'll have Dana 60's, but I haven't seen that corroborated anywhere else). Makes sense. I highly doubt Dana 60s will be included. It was unfortunate for me that my delivery date was 2 days after the announcement of this package. If Jeep said it a month ago, I probably would've held off, but I'll see how it plays out and, if I get the upgrade bug, may consider trading my current 392 in.I'll confirm tomorrow but if I can get Dana 60s 392 35s 4.56 from the dealership then I don't want my current 392 - why would i? for $4k more I'd rather get all that stuff i mean we are talking thats 15k in upgrades
No dana 60s, 4.56 gears 35s is what the big change is. the lift is slightly smaller 1.5 vs 2.5 or 2 that is on the 392. What sucks about it is the fact the recon is a better option in the sense of value. Ours will not be as desirable which is garbage jeep is pulling this crap on us. I'm going to ask my dealer if they want to sell mine and order me a recon instead. I'll wait im in no hurry.Makes sense. I highly doubt Dana 60s will be included. You’ll be happy to know, that it is available on the Wrangler 392will only be offered in NON 392/4XE model Rubicons
It doesn’t specify Dana 60s, but I Can 100% confirm it is in the order system for the 392, and currently is a requirement for 392 orders, with no option to order it withoutI'm confused by this - I heard the same from the salesman I worked with at dealership I just bought my 392 from (he also said it'll have Dana 60's, but I haven't seen that corroborated anywhere else). And it's a $4k package for everything? That sounds absurdly good.
